Kualitas lembaga PAUD menjadi faktor kunci bagi kualitas pendidikan bagi anak usia dini. Guru memiliki posisi strategis bagi pencapaian lembaga PAUD yang bermutu. Guru yang ideal harus memiliki kapasitas hard skills dan soft skills yang mumpuni. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan penguatan atas kemampuan soft skills guru PAUD untuk mendorong peningkatkan kualitas lembaga PAUD. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 7 bulan pada sebuah TK Swasta Unggulan di Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Partisipan yang bersedia terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 16 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama tercapainya kualitas lembaga PAUD berasal dari kompetensi soft skills guru, meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, maupun profesionalitas. Oleh karena itu, sangat diperlukannya manajemen soft skills bagi guru PAUD. Manajemen Soft Skills berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan soft skills guru dan kualitas lembaga PAUD
The early childhood learning should cover many aspects of development, ranging from religious and moral values, social, emotional, cognitive, physical motor, linguistic and artistic. Song and Movement are still identified with motion. Early childhood learning is synonymous with singing, clapping and playing while active. Motion and song activities are very tightly attached and can not be separated, especially in providing learning to young children. Motion and song learning is an activity in playing while learning and learning through playing, so activities performed through motion/movement and song are expected to please the child as well as touch the development of language, sensitivity to the rhythm of music, motor development, confidence, and the courage to take risks. Through motion or movement and song, children learn to develop their linguistic ability, it is through listening song dan music rhythm, children develop their receptive ability in language. And children’ expressive ability in language is developed while children sing the song. Therefore, it is necessary for an activity that can train early childhood educators in giving stimulation to children through motion and song.
This study aimed to determine the family waste management in the planting of environmental care characters for early childhood. The purpose of this study was to explore information about environmental care programs in Kitiran village, family waste management on the inculcation of early childhood environmental character care, and the impact of family waste management on inculcating character care for the environment of early childhood. The research approach used was qualitative descriptive study with the type of phenomenological research. The research subjects were parents who had early childhood, run a family waste management, and the residence is in Kitiran village. Sources of data used were parents who run family waste management, early childhood, public figures who are the originators of environmental care programs in Kitiran village. Data collection techniques used was purposive sampling which had taken by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity test used was source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data analysis technique used was interactive data analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Kitiran village had an environmental care program that was integrated with all elements of the community including families waste management activities become routine activities for every family member of the Kitiran village including early childhood. Families there introduced and instilled the character of caring for the environment in children from an early age. Children in their daily lives were involved in every family waste management activity simply. The age of the child and the active role of different parents in the process of inculcating the character of the child's environmental care in waste management made understanding and actions of child waste management different. Kualitas layanan program pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) menunjang keberhasilan peserta didik. Kurangnya pemahaman pendidik mengenai pengelolaan manajemen PAUD terutama manajemen kurikulum menjadi hambatan dalam peningkatan kualitas layanan PAUD. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi terkait pelaksanaan dan penataan manajemen kurikulum PAUD khususnya di TK. Manajemen kurikulum sangatlah penting karena manajemen ini menentukan bahan ajar yang disesuaikan dengan aspek perkembangan anak dalam rangka mencapai tumbuh kembang yang optimal dengan pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi terkait pelaksanaan dan penataan manajemen kurikulum PAUD agar lebih terarah dan berkembang lebih optimal di lembaga PAUD. Sampel pengabdian adalah TK. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan berjalan dengan baik meskipun terkendala oleh pandemi, guru TK lebih memahami pengelolaan dan penataan manajemen kurikulum PAUD sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pendidikan lebih otpimal secara efektif dan efisien. Luaran kegiatan pengabdian ini ialah adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum PAUD lebih terarah dan berkembang optimal.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan halus anak melalui gerak manipulatif pada anak kelompok A TK Warga Jebres Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa motorik halus anak belum berkembang sesuai harapan sehingga perlu adanya peningkatan motorik Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A berjumlah 17 anak yang tediri dari 7 anak laki-laki dan 10 anak perempuan yang berusia 4-5 tahun. Data dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan tes, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik uji validitas data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan analisi data kuantitatif dari Aqib dan analisis data kualitatif dari Miles dan Hurberman, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Indikator kinerja penelitian yang ditetapkan sesuai dengan Tingkat Pencapaian Perkembangan Minimal (TTPMin) 75% dari jumlah anak. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukan bahwa motorik halus anak meningkat melalui kegiatan gerak manipulatif. Hal tersebut dapat ditunjukan dengan hasil dari persentase pada pratindakan adalah 5,9%. Hasil peningkatan persentase pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 64,7%. Peningkatan persentase pada siklus II yaitu menjadi sebesar 88,2%. Hal tersebut dikarenakan gerak manipulatif pada penelitian ini berfokus terhadap kinerja otot-otot tangan dan pergelangan dalam melakukan setiap kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui kegiatan gerak manipulatif dapat meningkatkan motorik halus anak.
