VOs extracted from Premna odorata have anti-TB activity by acting on TLR-4/NFκB signaling pathway through decreasing the serum levels of TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL1-β and the mRNA expression levels of TLR-4 & NF-κB, and increasing IL-10 & TAC. Understanding the mechanism and the signaling pathway involving in the anti-tuberculosis activity will help a lot in preparation of new drugs against TB.
