Introduction. The University loses the role of the only source of knowledge in the context of widespread use of network technology for access to information. Simple interfaces for obtaining knowledge on demand provide an opportunity for rapid self-education in the process of realization industrial or domestic tasks. Rethinking the role and place of the univer sity in training engineers and scientists, modernizing of models of information technology achievements' use by universities in their information systems becomes critically important. Problem Statement. Students are poorly involved in research and innovation activity, the model of organization of the work of universities separates the educational process from other activities. Purpose. To develop a model of scientific and educational information space for innovative and project activity of the community of teaching stuff and university students. Materials and Methods. The methods of logical and comparative analysis have been used. Results. The model of the integrated scientific and educational information space of a technical university with the organization of work on the basis of reliable sources is proposed. Taking into account the possibility of various ways of developing scientific research and the need for the formation of appropriate project teams, the information system for the project activity based on the concept of adaptive case management is proposed. The subsystem of the knowledge base of the training system for drilling equipment designing has been developed. Conclusions. The described models of scientific and educational work provide a project approach to the management of joint work of teaching stuff and students. The introduction of such management model necessitates the use of methods of project-based learning. Further research will aim at developing ways of implementation of project-oriented learning in the educational process of the higher education institution within the existing legislative and regulatory framework.
Abstract. There have been analyzed reasons of the loss of technical education's popularity. Also, the analysis of known educational and production methods, oriented at the innovative model of development of society, was performed. It is stated that the acquisition of 21st century's skills as a result of competition of technical education are natural for the DIY ideology, which was realized in the institutions like Fab Lab. The new educational strategy, based on project-based learning, is proposed to be implemented as a special laboratory with equipment, which would be a center of innovative development for students at the Technical University. Moreover, the list of projects planned for implementation, that includes not only projects, specific to a particular university, but also projects, demanded by society as a whole, is specified. It is worth to implement trendy projects in the laboratory, such as toy-like, ecological projects; projects of the energy dependence decrease or the energy efficiency increase, modern digital or innovative projects etc. The student should gain knowledge, skills and, possibly, equipment that are available for immediate usage on the labor market or for the realization of his own projects or the community's projects in everyday life after the realization of the particular project at the laboratory
The work is aimed at development and improvement of the system of information provision and activation of innovation and project activity of universities for prepairing specialists of oil and gas industry. The authors have proposed a model of the information system based on the use of electronic document flow, implemented, at this stage, for the organization of the activity process. The workflow is based on the use of cloud-based Google services for schools with a backup repository on a local server. The availability of corporate e-mail and electronic signature is the condition of access. The preparation for the implementation of the network model of scientific development has been done. A specialized technical institution of higher education (HEI) has been chosen as an institutional basis for the functioning of the scientific and educational information space. An analysis of the existing business processes of the HEI’s work has been carried out using the approach of creating classifiers and time-based budgeting based on the map-tables. The conceptual model of the combination of initial work and scientific research has been developed. The use of Trello project management system for university teaching has been proposed because Trello is an extremely simple tool that is easy to implement in the workflow without long adaptation of the staff. This system supports the flexible management of the project team and integration with the services of working with documents. It has been established that in spite of the shortcomings, at the first stage of the project management implementation the use of such cloud service would allow to overcome the psychological inertia of participants in the process of work on projects without the heavy expenses. The proposed approaches to engineering education will allow using the potential of student youth for the development of innovations by scientific-educational project teams and minimize the costs of ensuring the functioning of a single information space of innovation-project activity in oil and gas industry.
