Examples of implementation of innovative approach in environmental safety investigation of oil and gas wells in order to define environmentally hazardous units of equipment and technological processes are given. In order to solve the problem of environmental safety improvement and the effectiveness of flushing out of well that are being drilled a modernized scheme of drilling rig pumping-circulatory system has been designed. System approach of modernizing separate elements of pumping-circulatory system has been used. The maximum air-tight pumping-circulatory drilling rig system has been designed. The proposed model takes into account the necessity of hazardous evaporations outlet with the aim of their further utilization. Such an approach will avoid the entry harmful substances into the environment and prevent harmful effects of aggressive substances on health personnel of drilling rig, environment and on state of the technological equipment.
Purpose. To modernize a pumping-circulatory system of a drilling rig in order to improve the environmental safety data, reliability, and convenience during oil well construction.Methods. Methods of system analysis of the conditions and use of different design features of facilities and equipment of pumping-circulatory systems for well washing with muds have been applied. Computer modeling has been performed to assess the risks of pumping-circulatory station operation; theoretical and experimental data have been evaluated and generalized to develop environmentally friendly pumping-circulatory system.Findings. Improved design of a pumping-circulatory system which components are made of elastic (e.g. rubbertextile) materials has been proposed; the design provides air-tightness and prevents harmful substances from penetrating into the environment. Modernized pumping-circulatory system allows obtaining efficient operation results since it meets following requirements: quick readjustment to the drilling mode under certain conditions; minimum time for transportation to the operating site, assembling and disassembling; compactness and mobility; convenient and safe labor conditions for the personnel; and considerable damage-resistance.Originality. The paper demonstrates the approach aimed at the increase of environmental safety level, labor protection, and efficiency of operating processes in terms of pumping-circulatory system based on stage-by-stage study of different sections of the equipment, technological processes, and impact of the related substances. The research has made it possible to determine the ways for the improvement of separate equipment units as well as to define their positioning and provide proper operation modes. That approach, aimed at the increase of the environmental safety level of the industry, is appropriate to be applied at other stages of the life cycle of oil and gas industry.Practical implications. The pumping-circulatory system under consideration requires minimum transportation expenses being very cheap to transport, assemble, operate, maintain, and disassemble.
Introduction. The University loses the role of the only source of knowledge in the context of widespread use of network technology for access to information. Simple interfaces for obtaining knowledge on demand provide an opportunity for rapid self-education in the process of realization industrial or domestic tasks. Rethinking the role and place of the univer sity in training engineers and scientists, modernizing of models of information technology achievements' use by universities in their information systems becomes critically important. Problem Statement. Students are poorly involved in research and innovation activity, the model of organization of the work of universities separates the educational process from other activities. Purpose. To develop a model of scientific and educational information space for innovative and project activity of the community of teaching stuff and university students. Materials and Methods. The methods of logical and comparative analysis have been used. Results. The model of the integrated scientific and educational information space of a technical university with the organization of work on the basis of reliable sources is proposed. Taking into account the possibility of various ways of developing scientific research and the need for the formation of appropriate project teams, the information system for the project activity based on the concept of adaptive case management is proposed. The subsystem of the knowledge base of the training system for drilling equipment designing has been developed. Conclusions. The described models of scientific and educational work provide a project approach to the management of joint work of teaching stuff and students. The introduction of such management model necessitates the use of methods of project-based learning. Further research will aim at developing ways of implementation of project-oriented learning in the educational process of the higher education institution within the existing legislative and regulatory framework.
