Currently, broad-spectrum antibiotics are widely used to treat bacterial infections. One of them is Azitronit containing 10% of azithromycin. The main objective of the work was to study the urea formation function of the liver of cats with chlamydia and the effect of the preparation Azitronit on it. All the animals studied were subjected to a clinical study according to the generally accepted method, in which special attention was paid to the condition of the organs that are most often affected by chlamydia - the eyes, mucous membranes of the external genital organs, and upper respiratory tract. Laboratory diagnosis was carried out by polymerase chain reaction. Determination of biochemical parameters on an IDEXX Catalist analyzer. It was found that in sick animals the content of total protein, urea, ammonia, glutamine and ornithine increases by 15.5%, 27.6%, 27.8%, 18.2% and 17.5%, respectively, compared with healthy ones. After treatment of animals, the studied indices decreased by 4.9% (total protein), 5.3% (urea), 18.3% (glutamine), 10% (ammonia) and 13.6% relative to the initial level (sick animals) (ornithine), but did not reach the animals of the control group and were higher by 11.1%, 23.5%, 11.7%, 10% and 4.5%, respectively. In the blood of cats with chlamydia patients, the content of a number of metabolites of the ornithine urea cycle increases, the activity of arginase and transamination enzymes increases, the content of total protein and ornithine, the concentration of ammonia, while increasing the concentration of urea, glutamine. After treatment with the drug Azitronit, the desired indices decrease, but do not reach the indices in healthy animals.
The article presents the results of a retrospective analysis of the spread of oncological diseases in dogs and cats, on the territory of two administrative districts of the city of Volgograd. The object of the study was 127 dogs and 117 cats, differing in gender, age and breed, who were admitted to the clinic with neoplasms of various origin and localization. The most common oncological pathologies in dogs and cats in the Traktorozavodsky and Krasnooktyabrsky districts of the city have been identified. The dogs were diagnosed with tumors of the breast - 33.8%, skin and its derivatives - 29% and the reproductive system - 11.8%. At the same time, breast neoplasms were detected in cats – 62.4%, skin - 9.4%, oral cavity - 8.5% and hematopoietic system - 8.5%.
The purpose of this chapter was to study the influence of humic substances on the formation of the safety and quality of poultry meat. The high abilities of the natural and organic complex of humic acids “Reasil®HumicHealth” (produced in Russia, Saratov) to sorb and desorb five mycotoxins of compound feed (aflatoxin B1, ochratoxin, toxin T-2, zearalenone and fuminisin B1) were experimentally established. The hepatoprotective ability of humic acids was observed in experiments on broilers using rapeseed meal containing an increased amount of secondary plant metabolites that could cause liver damage. It was found out that the inclusion of humic acids in the amount of 1 and 1.5 g per 1 kg of feed to the main diet of broiler chickens has a more stable positive effect, both in terms of slaughter indicators (yield of semieviscerated carcasses and carcasses of complete evisceration), and in the production of the most valuable natural semi-finished products (breast, chicken legs) due to the intensive growth of muscle tissue. A clear improvement in the morpho-biochemical and immunological parameters of blood and micromorphometric characteristics of the organs of the immune system of poultry was noted with the use of different concentrations of humic acid salts. The use of the additive at the rate of 1 and 1.5 g per 1 kg of feed does not negatively affect the sensory indicators of finished culinary products.
The article presents the results of studies on the effect of commercial food on the processes of free radical oxidation of lipids in the body of cats with urinary tract pathology. It has been found that the concentration of diene conjugates in the blood serum of sick animals increases significantly by 15.1 - 36.7% relative to healthy ones. The MDA content in the blood serum of healthy animals was 6.05 ± 0.28 nmol / g. In animals with urolithiasis, this indicator increased by about 2 times. When feeding with commercial food and homemade food, LPO processes normalize, which is most pronounced on the 21st day. The average activity of catalase in the blood serum of sick animals was increased from 30.6% to 40.2% relative to healthy ones (15.15 ± 0.61 ?mol / ml). After feeding with therapeutic and prophylactic fodders, by the 7th day, the catalase activity did not significantly decrease compared to the initial level, but remained higher than in control animals by 19.6% - 37.1%. On the 14th day, the catalase activity did not change significantly compared with the 7th day and was higher than the control values by 21.5% - 27.5%.
The results of the use of a combination of cimicoxib and cyclophosphamide, in metronomic mode, in neoadjuvant therapy of complex breast carcinoma in dogs are presented. This treatment regimen allowed to achieve stabilization of the process, the volume of the tumor decreased by 60.77% of the indicators of the first day. The regression was 39.23%. According to the results of hematological blood examination, by the 90th day of therapy, the number of leukocytes decreased by 75.96%, lymphocytes by 79.67% and granulocytes by 75.64%, to reference values. The number of red blood cells and the level of hemoglobin increased by 49.57% and 53.98%, respectively. There was an increase in the amount of hematocrit by 52.35% compared to the values of the first day before therapy. Biochemical parameters of blood serum by the end of drug therapy were within the reference values. There were no signs of hematological and general toxicity, according to the WHO scale, requiring corrective therapy, dose reduction or withdrawal of drugs.
