Digitalization and transition to a new technological structure bring humanity to another level of development. The changing technological structures, industry and society progress, enhance the importance of improving the university development model. The existing management system and infrastructure in universities are often outdated and unable to ensure their competitive and adequate functioning. Hence, the need to improve the processes of using the university infrastructure through digital technology. The composition and range of the resources should also be reviewed and supplemented with new components.The purpose of this work is to reveal the principles and requirements for improving the university infrastructure using digital technology.The methodology is based on modeling the university management system, with the concept of infrastructure logic as a core, meant to include new elements in the university management infrastructure: university stakeholders, cultural values, investments and translation.The management model transformation implies a transition from structural to infrastructural approach, from infrastructure management to managing the infrastructure logic. The digital network platform incorporating the information on all the infrastructure facilities, their status, will provide effective user access management to each university resource.The recommendations formulated to improve the university infrastructure using digital technology will make higher education more effective.
This article is essentially a dataset necessary for analysing the taxation. The data analysis has allowed to determine the optimal taxation model, when the criteria of economic efficiency and equity are incompatible. The dataset has allowed the use of the method of successive concessions in tax optimization. The practical significance of the dataset lies in the ability to simultaneously improve the efficiency and equity in taxation.The dataset was obtained by using the method of expert estimates. A group of experts was asked to rank the taxes established by the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, in descending order of importance. Only strict rankings were allowed. The consistency of expert opinion was evaluated using the Kendall coefficient of concordance.The data set was supplemented with the expert ranking data of the basic principles of taxation, such as the principle of equity; the principle of certainty and accuracy of taxes; the principle of ease of tax collection for taxpayers; the principle of efficiency; the principle of commitment.The dataset can be used in the future to determine a rational amount of taxation depending on the established criteria.
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze how the audiovisual teaching aids are applied in the modern educational environment and to assess their application efficiency in the context of the secondary-level vocational education establishments. Design/methodology/approach A pedagogical experiment was conducted to confirm this hypothesis. At the preparatory stage, the authors have analyzed the teaching and learning process, as well as students learning at the secondary-level vocational education establishment. Statistical sample was 300 people. Findings Based on the research results, main mistakes made while applying the audiovisual teaching aids were identified, formulated and investigated. These mistakes were related to the insufficient methodological preparation. As these mistakes were eliminated, student achievements and learning skills have increased by 15–20 percent (experiment data). The average marks, obtained by students before and after eliminating the methodological mistakes, were taken in points (from 2 to 5) as achievement and learning skill criteria. Research conclusion is that audiovisual aids application quality can be improved only through the research on students’ educational and creative potential, their perception of various learning materials, and their preferences in the information structure, composition, types and forms. Originality/value Applying audiovisual teaching aids in the learning process is a challenge. This paper is driven by the need of new unique methods for applying audiovisual aids related to identifying the optimal temporal lesson structure, as well as the composition and the amount of auxiliary teaching materials, interactive communication level and ways to stimulate the emotional and creative activity of students.
The relevance of the study is due to the increasing role of digital technologies in education. The abrupt shift of universities to distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has created new challenges. The purpose of this article is to analyze modern problems of traditional e-learning systems and identify the most effective digital technologies for improving the design system and implementing the content of professional educational programs at the university in the context of digitalization. Scientific articles in journals included in the Scopus database over the past five years, official websites of universities and their reports on the use of modern digital technologies were used as a statistical and empirical base for the study. Multiple comparative case studies and content analysis were ap-plied. To solve the identified problems, such modern digital technologies and methods as cloud computing, adaptive design, big data, 3D printing, wearable technologies and gamification were proposed. The paper proposes an updated digital education system model at the university consisting of such elements as Instructors & Students, Master Courses, Content Delivery, Courses Collaboration, Progress Tracking, Assignments, Practices and Exams. The conclusions and rec-ommendations formulated in this study can be used by different educational systems and universities.
From the perspective of a systematic integrated approach, the article formulates the main directions of digital transformation of higher education system in sustainable education in all its components, taking into account the requirements of the modern digital economy as the leading trend in the country’s innovative development model. The authors consider essential content of the digital economy as a vector of innovative trends focused on the training of specialists of a qualitatively different level, and present the results of the formation of the digital economy in the Personnel and Education direction in 2025. One of the essential components of the modern educational process is the electronic information and educational environment, which is considered as a system that includes innovative technology platforms as an indispensable element for the generation and processing of knowledge. The article explores the prospects for improving the Russian scientific and educational system based on innovative methods of education using neural network technologies, the need for a transition to online education with integrated systems of natural and artificial intelligence. The paper identifies obstacles that significantly hamper the sustainable development of online education, one of which is the lack of teachers of the new formation who can work in the digital environment. It also presents an analysis of the results of a comprehensive study to assess the readiness of higher education to the parameters of the digital economy, showing that most universities are at the initial stage of the informatization and automation processes, which proves the relevance of the materials presented.
