RESUMOO PIBID é um programa criado com objetivo de incentivar a formação docente para a educação básica,buscando oportunizar o aprendizado do SER professor oportunizando aos alunos de licenciatura experiências praticas por meio da atuação em projetos nas escolas da rede publicas contando com o auxilio de um professor coordenador. Deste modo o programa busca elevar a qualidade da formação inicial de professores nos cursos de licenciatura e mobilizar professores da rede pública de ensino como co-formadores dos futuros docentes. Portanto, o PIBID está diretamente ligado ao SER professor, quando se fala das experiências, aprendizado e oportunidades. O presente estudo possui como objetivo verificar qual significado do SER professor para os alunos do ultimo anode licenciatura do curso educação física que participam do PIBID. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em uma Universidade do Vale do Paraíba, a amostra foi composta de 23 alunos. Como instrumento, foi aplicado um questionário. Após os questionários respondidos, foram feitas as análises dos dados e tabulados em formas de gráficos buscando apoio na literatura. Os resultados obtidos foram semelhantes aos da literatura, no qual existe uma ligação direta ao objetivo do programa PIBID que é aformação de professor. Palavras chaves: PIBID, professor, educação ABSTRACTThe PIBID is a program created with the objective of encouraging teacher education for basic education, seeking to provide the learning of the to be a teacher, giving the students practical experience by acting in projects in the schools of the public network, with the help of a teacher coordinator. In this way, the program seeks to raise the quality of initial teacher training in undergraduate courses and to mobilize teachers from the public-school system as trainers of future teachers. Therefore, the PIBID is directly connected to the to be a teacher, when speaking of experiences, learning and opportunities. The present study aims to verify what meaning of the to be a is a teacher for the students of the last year of the undergraduate degree of the physical education course that participate in PIBID. The research was developed at a University of Vale do Paraíba, the sample was composed of 23 students. As instrument, a questionnaire was applied. After the questionnaires answered, data analysis and tabulation were done in graphical forms seeking support in the literature. The results obtained were similar to those in the literature, in which there is a direct link to the objective of the PIBID program, which is teacher training.
