A Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) é onde se encontram tecnologias de alta complexidade e uma equipe multidisciplinar especializada, onde são destinadas a pacientes que apresentam estado grave de saúde, mas que possuem chances de sobreviver. Assim, a política Nacional de Humanização (PNH), tem como objetivo alcançar nos serviços de saúde a identificação das necessidades de saúde, valorização do usuário, trabalhadores e dos gestores, dentro da UTI é importante que a prática de humanização vá além dos cuidados a todos os pacientes, precisa também que ocorra entre a própria equipe multidisciplinar. O atual estudo tem como finalidade mostrar a prática da humanização do cuidado na UTI com base na literatura científica. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa na literatura, realizada nos meses fevereiro e março de 2022 através de pesquisas eletrônicas nas bases de dados SciELO e Lilacs. As estratégias de buscas permitiram identificar 256 artigos, aplicando os critérios de inclusão, 244 foram excluídos, no total foram selecionados 12 artigos por atenderem todos os requisitos. Os resultados mostram que existem dificuldades na implementação do cuidado na UTI, mas que apesar disso os profissionais têm uma boa perspectiva acerca de tal política, ajudando de forma eficaz na prática das estratégias necessárias. Portanto, conclui-se que, apesar das dificuldades para a prática de tal política as pesquisas mostram os enormes benefícios que a humanização do cuidado traz para o paciente dentro da unidade de terapia intensiva, dentre eles a diminuição do sofrimento.
Objetivo: Contabilizar o número de casos de Câncer de Colo de útero no nordeste brasileiro a partir da realização do exame citopatológico (Papanicolau). Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo transversal descritivo e retrospectivo com uma abordagem literária. A busca eletrônica das informações referentes aos resultados dos exames citopatológicos foi retirado do Sistema de Informação do Câncer- SISCAN. Resultados: O levantamento dos dados evidenciou que entre 2015 e 2019 foram realizados um total de 16.952.217 exames citológicos (papanicolaou) em todo o território do Brasil. No Nordeste brasileiro, foi possível observar uma cobertura de 5.172.360 exames realizados nesse mesmo período de tempo. Esses dados foram dispostos no gráfico abaixo. Conclusão: O estudo revelou uma expressiva magnitude de casos novos, e um relativo número de mortes diante da faixa etária pesquisada. Observou-se também que houve um aumento relevante da realização de exames preventivos, o que significa uma efetiva atividade de rastreamento realizada pela atenção básica, tendo em vista que ela é responsável pela realização de grande parte desses exames.
Introdução: A lesão por pressão (LPP) é definido como uma lesão na pele ou no tecido subjacente, normalmente encontrado sobre alguma proeminência óssea. Objetivo: Identificar os fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento da lesão por pressão em pacientes na unidade de terapia intensiva. Métodos: Este estudo trata-se de uma revisão de literatura do tipo integrativa, com consulta de artigos científicos e materiais publicados na integra. Em relação aos critérios de inclusão, foram considerados artigos publicados na integra, escritos em português, publicados entre os anos 2012 a 2021. Com isso, identificou-se 143 artigos nos quais 9 foram selecionados para a construção desta revisão. Resultados e Discussão: Dentre os prinipais fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento da LPP estão: o uso de ventilação mecânica, sedação cotínua, uso de drogas vasoativas, alterações nos íveis de conciência e alterações do fluxo sanguineo. Além disso, existem os fatores extrinseco que é causados por: umidade, fricção e cisalhamento; e os fatores intrínseco sendo causado por: redução, perda da sensibilidade, força muscular e imobilidade. Conclusão: Em relação ao presente trabalho, conclui-se que, a lesão por pressão na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva possui diversos fatores de risco que podem ser evidenciados nas literaturas citadas.
A pneumonia associada à ventilação mecânica (PAVM) é uma infecção nosocomial considerada umas das mais comuns dentro da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva, tendo uma incidência de 6 a 50 casos por cada 100 internações nesse ambiente. O atual estudo levando em consideração a literatura científica, tem como finalidade mostrar os fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento da pneumonia associada à ventilação mecânica em pacientes internados na UTI. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa na literatura, realizada nos meses maio e junho de 2022 através de pesquisas eletrônicas na base de dados Google Acadêmico. As estratégias de buscas permitiram identificar 984 artigos, aplicando os critérios de inclusão, 975 foram excluídos, no total foram selecionados 9 artigos por atenderem todos os requisitos. Os resultados mostram que, a intubação e reintubação traqueal, o choque, a antecedência de Doença Pulmonar Obstrutiva Crônica, a contaminação exógena e a antibioticoterapia como profilaxia, são considerados aspectos que favorecem o surgimento da pneumonia associada à ventilação mecânica. Conclui-se que, se torna de extrema importância saber os aspectos que aumentam a chance de ocorrência de tal problemática, para que consiga desenvolver prevenir e desenvolver medidas que ajudem a minimizar os danos para a saúde do indivíduo.
Introdução: Candida auris é um fungo emergente que representa uma ameaça a saúde pública, podendo estar associado a um aumento imediato de custo, não apenas financeiros, mas também com a morbidade e a mortalidade dos pacientes, sendo capaz de ser multirresistente e levar a crescentes surtos no âmbito da saúde. Assim, o enfermeiro é o profissional essencial para a vigilância e implantação de medidas preventivas contra microrganismos multirresistentes. Objetivo: Descrever as ações de controle de disseminação dos casos de Candida auris e os seus métodos diagnósticos de identificação apontados pela literatura, a fim de identificar e destacar o papel do enfermeiro na importância do rastreamento de forma ágil e o preparo da equipe multiprofissional. Material e métodos: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa de literatura realizado em agosto de 2021, com corte temporal de 2020 a 2021. Os artigos foram pesquisados nos Bancos de dados Google Acadêmico, Scielo, PubMed e Notas Técnicas da ANVISA. Para a composição do estudo foram utilizados 08 artigos, sendo excluídos 1842 que não corresponderam ao objetivo. Resultados: Foi evidenciado que a disseminação do C. Auris pode ocorrer de forma rápida, uma vez que introduzido nos hospitais brasileiros, o que torna a implementação de medidas de controle de infecções uma ação de extrema importância. Para casos suspeitos de C. Auris, o serviço de saúde deve adotar imediatamente ações de controle de disseminação do fungo, sendo elas: isolar o suspeito imediatamente; reforçar medidas de prevenção com ênfase na higiene das mãos e desinfecção do ambiente, o que torna a atuação do enfermeiro fundamental nesse âmbito; notificar a ANVISA, informar à CECIH e aguardar autorização de encaminhamento do isolado para o Lacen, caso autorizado comunicar o laboratório, realizar investigação do caso e anexá-lo junto ao formulário da ANVISA. Conclusão: Diante do exposto é de suma importância que os serviços de saúde estejam em alerta na vigilância destes casos, a ação imediata e adoção das medidas recomendadas devem ser implementadas o mais rápido possível, e é imprescindível o preparo dos enfermeiros, visto que sua participação é essencial para que consigam mitigar os casos uma vez que sejam confirmados.
