A exclusão social das pessoas com deficiência evidentemente leva a que elas sejam também excluídas do mercado de trabalho, tornando a questão ainda maior. Daí surge a seguinte pergunta: Quais as dificuldades da gestão de pessoas para ampliar e melhorar a inclusão de deficientes nas empresas privadas do Agreste Meridional Pernambucano? Dessa forma, o objetivo geral deste artigo é analisar as dificuldades da gestão de pessoas na ampliação e melhoria da inclusão de deficientes nas empresas privadas do Agreste Meridional Pernambucano. Quanto à metodologia, este estudo tem caráter exploratório, e contou ainda com os seguintes conceitos: Método Monográfico ou Estudo de Caso. E as seguintes técnicas de pesquisa: A pesquisa bibliográfica e a entrevista estruturada ou padronizada. Apesar de toda evolução tecnológica e das leis vigentes no Brasil e no mundo, a questão da inclusão está longe de acontecer dentro do que está na legislação. As organizações se desculpam por não terem condições apropriadas para receber pessoas com deficiência e as que as incluem fazem isso apenas para cumprir a Lei de Cotas.
Identificar o perfil do egresso dos cursos de administração faz com que se esclareça se a Instituição cumpriu com o que é esperado durante sua trajetória: entregar ao mercado de trabalho, profissionais com as competências necessárias a um desempenho de qualidade. A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo geral analisar o perfil profissional pretendido e o que foi realizado, pelo curso de Administração da Faculdade de Ciências da Administração de Garanhuns (FAGA). Para atingir esse objetivo, trabalhou-se especificamente descrevendo a evolução dos cursos de Administração no Brasil, relatando a implantação do curso de Administração da FAGA, identificando o perfil profissional pretendido pelo curso e relatando os resultados da pesquisa. O estudo fez uso do método de procedimento monográfico. Utilizou-se um questionário com indicadores baseados no Instrumento de Avaliação de Cursos de Graduação do MEC, aplicado de forma online, entre 282 egressos do curso de administração da FAGA, formados entre os anos de 2006 e 2016. Concluiu-se que o curso de Administração, apesar de sua história recente, vem contribuindo com as organizações quando colocado no mercado profissional qualificados para atuarem em diversas áreas. Por sua vez, a FAGA vem cumprindo com o que se propôs em seu Projeto Político Pedagógico.
Na construção civil o trabalho operacional é muito utilizado. Portanto, os recursos humanos tomam um relevante papel para que os resultados sejam alcançados. Este estudo enfatiza o papel do engenheiro civil como gestor de pessoas em duas obras com características diferentes. Tem como objetivo geral analisar as principais questões relacionadas à gestão de pessoas em dois canteiros de obras diferentes localizados em dois municípios do Agreste Meridional de PE. Enquanto metodologia foi utilizada uma pesquisa exploratória e um estudo de caso comparativo entre dois canteiros envolvendo uma grande empresa e uma obra particular, tendo como base e apoio a coleta de dados através de entrevistas, aplicação de questionário e levantamento bibliográfico. O resultado dessa análise comparativa relata de um lado, uma escassez de conhecimento na área da gestão de pessoas e do outro, a certeza que é possível realizar uma boa gestão caminhando junto com os níveis técnico, operacional e estratégico da empresa, para que as pessoas trabalhem satisfeitas e se sintam reconhecidas. O estudo descreve o novo perfil do engenheiro gestor dentro de um canteiro de obras.
