Diferentes trabajos han analizado la adicción al Smartphone (Young, 2009; Beard, 2005). Sin embargo, todavía no existe una base teórica sólida que permita interpretar desde la psicología social este trastorno adictivo, ni una herramienta de diagnóstico precoz breve derivada de este fundamento (Cuesta, Cuesta y Martínez, 2019). Se hace indispensable la creación de herramientas que permitan estudiar los mecanismos psicosociales que subyacen al uso problemático del Smartphone, y que aporte conocimientos que permitan analizar sus fundamentos psicosociales y posibles perfiles de uso. Objetivo: La creación de un cuestionario breve de adicción/uso problemático al Smartphone que permita investigar los diferentes perfiles psicosociales de uso. Método: Un meta análisis de la bibliografía permitió detectar los factores psicosociales validados empíricamente sobre los cuales existe mayor consenso. Posteriormente se realizaron tres grupos de discusión y cinco entrevistas en profundidad entre expertos y profesionales. Con estos datos se elaboró un cuestionario abreviado que fue cumplimentado por una muestra de jóvenes universitarios en dos ocasiones (test-retest). Resultados: El cuestionario obtuvo adecuados valores de Cronbach y test-retest en todos los ítems. El análisis factorial realizado permitió encontrar una estructura factorial de 4 factores de uso que fueron denominados: envolventes, socializados, virtualizados y estresados. Estas denominaciones, que remiten a los factores psicosociales presentes con mayor peso en cada factor, parecen indicar la existencia de diferentes patrones de uso problemático del móvil lo cual supone replantearse la adicción al Smartphone no como un único concepto y admitir la existencia de diferentes tipos de adicción. En un futuro se deberá explorar la existencia de factores y su vinculación a patrones de personalidad.
Debido a una fuerte penetración de las TICs en la vida cotidiana de los más jóvenes, el comportamiento sexual de éstos se ve afectado por el uso de las TICs. Internet parece facilitar una exposición temprana entre los menores a contenidos pornográficos de adultos, mientras que el cerebro de los más jóvenes no estaría totalmente preparado para cierto tipo de imágenes sexuales. La comunidad científica ofrece escalas para medir este tipo de problemática, dirigidas, principalmente, a adultos. Ante la necesidad, se propone una herramienta adaptada a niños y adolescentes, capaz de medir sin hacer mención alguna a cualquier figura sexual explícita. El objetivo es presentar una revisión bibliográfica sobre las escalas previas que nos dirija hacia el análisis de las variables más relevantes a la hora de proponer una herramienta válida de cribado y detección temprana para la adicción al sexo por Internet en la población juvenil, así como plantear un nuevo modelo teórico para comprender el fenómeno de tecno- adicción al sexo vs. adicción al ciber-sexo. Para ello realizamos un meta-análisis bibliográfico de escalas existentes en la materia así como el previo estudio de otros modelos teóricos anteriores para poder construir en el futuro una nueva herramienta de detección temprana, basada en el análisis del comportamiento a través del estudio de las emociones como origen–causal del comportamiento, y capaz de informar si un joven, hombre o mujer, tiene o no problemas relacionados con la sexualidad e Internet, así como detectar que trastornos (adyacentes) forman parte de dicho problema.
En este artículo se investiga la información sobre vacunas y anti vacunas que es compartida en blogs, Facebook y YouTube mediante la monitorización de publicaciones desde el año 2015 hasta la actualidad. En el análisis se ha tenido en cuenta el origen de la fuente emisora de la información, el contenido publicado, y el impacto generado. Los resultados, obtenidos del estudio de 48 vídeos de YouTube, 207 post de 5 blogs distintos y de 7 grupos de Facebook, muestran que: a) la información anti vacuna o pro vacuna encontrada en la red no suele provenir de organismo oficiales; b) el contenido compartido gira en torno a ciertos temas recurrentes y suele estar ligado a hechos puntuales (por ejemplo, un brote de sarampión o una denuncia particular por efectos secundarios de una vacuna); c) el contenido compartido carece, mayoritariamente, de carácter científico y; d) las interacciones generadas por parte de los usuarios varían mucho dependiendo de si la información es transmitida por YouTube, un blog, o Facebook. Generalmente, tanto los blogs como YouTube generan más seguidores, interacciones, y comentarios que los grupos de Facebook.
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objeto el estudio del caso: "Artivismo plus Grassroots", llevado a cabo en la Campaña Electoral de Manuela Carmena en las Elecciones Municipales de Madrid en 2015, en las que se unieron estos dos términos, arte y participación ciudadana, innovando como nunca antes se había visto en España en comunicación política. Se profundizará también, dentro de este contexto, la campaña del partido "Ahora Madrid" al que pertenece la candidata citada. Resulta revelador dar cuenta del uso que los nuevos partidos, en este caso Ahora Madrid, han hecho de las plataformas digitales como herramientas de comunicación durante las elecciones con el objetivo de identificar la actividad generada en las mismas y su carácter y, de la misma forma, observar si fomentaron la comunicación horizontal y bidireccional característica de este entorno 2.0. Para Manuel Castells (2012), en las últimas dos décadas se ha producido una transformación revolucionaria en torno a la tecnología y la organización de la comunicación socializada. "Dicha transformación puede definirse como el paso de la comunicación de masas a la auto-comunicación de masas (p.23). Punto importante a desarrollar en este artículo. Con el movimiento antivacunas se acentúa la percepción de las vacunas como no seguras ni efectivas influyendo en la percepción y comportamiento de la población. Comprender los mecanismos psicosociales subyacentes al “fenómeno antivacunas” permitirá desarrollar mejores programas de intervención. Esta investigación persigue dos objetivos: 1) analizar el Test de Asociación Implícita (IAT) como herramienta de neurocomunicación aplicada a la comunicación y salud, especialmente en vacunas y 2) comprender los mecanismos psicológicos ante el concepto vacuna y anti-vacuna. El IAT es una herramienta útil aunque presenta ciertas características metodológicas. Existe una asociación fuerte de las vacunas con salud, responsabilidad y eficacia.
