Em março de 2020, a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) declarou pandemia mundial em decorrência da propagação do coronavírus SARS-CoV-2. Para diminuir a multiplicação da doença, o governo decretou medidas de restrição e isolamento social no Brasil. Com isso, muitas empresas e instituições públicas, tiveram de aderir ao teletrabalho. Esta pesquisa buscou analisar, por meio da perspectiva de servidores envolvidos com trabalho administrativo de apoio em uma instituição pública de ensino superior, como eles vivenciaram o teletrabalho. A metodologia da pesquisa foi qualitativa e os dados coletados por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas feitas com os servidores da instituição. Os resultados desta pesquisa indicaram que o trabalho remoto mudou a configuração das relações de trabalho entre as pessoas. Os entrevistados relataram que trabalhar em home office trouxe mais flexibilidade na realização do trabalho além de proporcionar mais conforto, uma vez que se trabalha de casa. Contudo, eles também apontam: maior nível de estresse, ansiedade, autocobrança e cansaço; acúmulo de funções; interferência da família na realização do trabalho além da falta de equipamento e local apropriado para trabalhar. Apesar do histórico positivo em relação à implementação do teletrabalho em alguns órgãos do governo, as instituições públicas ainda podem encontrar algumas dificuldades na implementação do modelo de teletrabalho, relacionadas principalmente à estrutura da instituição e à disposição de tecnologias eficazes que viabilizem a comunicação dos funcionários.
