Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarına devam eden 4-6 yaşındaki çocukların annebabalarının çocuklarına yönelik ilgi düzeylerini belirlemeye yönelik geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Ölçek anne ve babalara iki ayrı form şeklinde düzenlenmiştir. Düzenlenen formları ile ölçek 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılında okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında 4-6 yaş grubunda öğrenim gören çocukların anne (n=462) ve babalarına (n=429) uygulanmıştır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizinde ölçeğin anne ilgi formunun 34 madde ve 4 faktör, baba ilgi formunun ise 40 madde ve 3 faktörden oluştuğu görülmüştür. Cronbach Alpha katsayıları anne ilgi formu için 0,91 ve baba ilgi formu için 0,94 olarak bulunmuştur. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucu uyum iyiliği indekslerinin kabul edilebilir ve iyi uyum sınırları içerisinde oldukları görülmüştür. Analiz sonuçlarına dayalı olarak ölçeğin 4-6 yaş grubunda çocuğu olan anne ve babaların çocuklarına yönelik ilgi düzeylerini ölçebileceğine karar verilmiştir.
The purpose of this research is to reveal the levels of affection for children, teaching motivations and self-efficacy beliefs of the teacher candidates studying in special education, pre-school and primary school teaching departments based on their gender, classroom and academic branches to showcase the correlations between the levels of the teachers" affection for children, their self-efficacy beliefs and teaching motivations. The study group was determined with the criterion sampling method. 368 teacher candidates participated in this study: 108 from special education department, 136 from pre-school department and 136 from primary school teacher department. The data were collected by means of "Barnett Liking Children, Teaching Motivations and Perception of Teacher Self-efficacy Scales". The data were analyzed using independent group t-tests, one -way analysis of variance, Pearson"s correlation analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results show that the teacher candidates from the three departments have a high level of affection for children. Their motivations to teach and self-efficacy beliefs are higher than the average value. It is revealed that there is an average positive correlation between liking children and teacher self-efficacy in using teaching strategies. However, the data results disclosed that the teacher candidates" self-efficacy beliefs, students" participation, teaching motivations, and teaching strategies predict their affection for children significantly and positively. Teacher candidates should be enabled to establish direct experiences with the group they shall work with in order to develop the self-efficiency beliefs of them.
Philosophy for children approach has been implemented in 50 different countries, and the materials of this approach have been translated into 20 different languages. Lipman (2003) describes this approach as a philosophy-based approach to encourage critical thinking in students. The purpose of this study is to develop the "Critical Thinking Scale through Philosophical Inquiry" for the children at 5 and 6 years in pre-school period and to conduct the validity and reliability studies. The study group consisted of 509 children: 201 of them (39.5%) at 5 years, 308 (60.5%), at 6 years with 249 (48.9%) girls and 260 (51.1%) boys. Data were gathered from 41 classes in 10 kindergartens in İzmir in terms of working group, group diversity and representation power. After the end value, normality, and linearity analyses of the data were computed, the implicit factor analysis was used to determine the scale, and model fit was examined by confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of the EFA, there was no need to withdraw any material and AFA was a result of a 5-point Likert-type scale consisting of 38 factors, namely "Philosophical Inquiry", "Language and Cognitive Skills" and "Formulating Question". Internal consistency coefficients for these sub factors and the overall sum of the test were calculated to be .974, .955, .983, .986 respectively and were found to be at a higher level.Factors obtained from EFA were tested with CFA and the agreement values were found as χ2 / df: 4,933,
ÖZ: Bu çalışmanın amacı özel yeteneklilerde öz-düzenlemeli öğrenme ve öz-yeterliğin uyumlu mükemmeliyetçiliği yordama düzeyini araştırmaktır. Çalışma Aydın ve Denizli'deki bilim ve sanat merkezlerinde 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim döneminde 4., 5. ve 6. sınıfta öğrenim gören 87 kız, 100 erkek toplam 187 öğrenciyle yapılmıştır. Çalışma ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Veriler Öz-düzenleyici Öğrenme-7, Çocuklar İçin Öz-yeterlik ve Uyumlu-Uyumsuz Mükemmeliyetçilik ölçekleriyle toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS 25.0 paket programıyla yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak öz-düzenlemeli öğrenme ve öz-yeterliğin uyumlu mükemmeliyetçiliği anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı bulunmuştur.
