Este trabalho aborda um recorte de estudo de caso realizado em um hospital pediátrico, com o intuito de apresentar a percepção dos usuários acerca do ambiente construído em quartos de internação. A pesquisa apresenta caráter qualitativo e adotou métodos de inquirição para intermediar o relato dos usuários. Foram entrevistados diferentes usuários que vivenciam e utilizam o espaço -funcionários, acompanhantes e pacientes -, permitindo diversas reflexões acerca de sua percepção ambiental. Como parte da revisão bibliográfica são apresentados os conceitos de humanização hospitalar, que fundamentaram a pesquisa de campo. Foi selecionada uma amostra de seis tipologias de quartos de internação, escolhidas a partir de distintas características arquitetônicas. Os dados obtidos nos métodos de inquirição foram tratados por análise de conteúdo, em análises textuais e em forma de tabelas e fotografias. Como resultado são apresentadas a percepção dos funcionários, acompanhantes e pacientes acerca dos quartos de internação, suas preferências e a relação entre as diferentes condicionantes arquitetônicas e a sensação de bem-estar dos usuários. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Humanização, internação pediátrica, percepção dos usuários ABSTRACT This work addresses a case study carried out in a pediatric hospital, in order to present the users perception about the environment built in inpatient rooms. The research has a qualitative character and adopted methods of inquiry to mediate the reports of users. Different users who experience and use the space -employees, companions and patients -were interviewed, allowing different reflections about their environmental perception. As part of the bibliographic review, the concepts of hospital humanization are presented, which supported the field research. A sample of six types of inpatient rooms was selected, chosen from different architectural characteristics. The data obtained in the IX Seminário Brasileiro de Acessibilidade Integral . Natal, 13-15/maio/2020 survey methods were treated by content analysis, textual analysis and in the form of tables and photographs. As a result, the perception of employees, companions and patients about the hospitalization rooms, their preferences and the relationship between the different architectural conditions and the feeling of well-being of the users are presented.
