Penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena bencana tsunami yang berpotensi terjadi di Kabupaen Pesisir Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan arahan kebijakan penggunaan lahan berbasis bencana tsunami di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik AHP (Analytical Hierarcy Process). menganalisis tingkat kesesuaian lahan untuk permukiman pada zona yang tidak beresiko tsunami dan mengetahui arahan kebijakan pengembangan permukiman penduduk berbasis bencana tsunami. Arahan kebijakan penggunaan lahan permukiman berbasis bencana tsunami di prioritaskan pada empat alternative kebijakan yaitu mitigasi bencana tsunami melalui pembangunan shelter dan jalur evakuasi, mengetahui zona resiko tsunami untuk pengembangan system peringatan dini, relokasi permukiman secara bertahap pada masyarakat yang bermukim pada kawasan beresiko tsunami dan menyusun kawasan peruntukkan lahan untuk permukiman berbasis bencana tsunami.
This study aims to determine the effect of the experience of the Educational Field Practice (PLK) on the readiness to become a teacher in the students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was 31 students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan who had implemented PLK. Data were collected through a questionnaire/questionnaire and analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (IBM SPSS Statistic 22) program. The results showed that there was an influence between the experience of Educational Field Practice (PLK) on readiness to become a teacher, with a positive direction for students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan by 42.7%. The results of this study are expected to be used as reference material in improving the quality of education.
This research started from researcher’ observation on English students’ ability that still low at seventh grade SMP N 1 Ranah Pesisir, and students’ opinion of English is bored and difficult. Based on the problems, this research purpose was to analyze students’ difficulties in understanding English learning, especially Reading Comprehension and Structure. The research method was descriptive qualitative. The research sampling was seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Ranah Pesisir, in choosing the sample was used purposive sampling technique. It was done because its class had mean score which low than others. More than 50 % of students got score under Minimum Completeness criteria. To get the data, the researcher had done interview for the students and English teacher, then done observation and document that were gotten the score of reading and structure material. From the result research were gotten that reading and structure understanding at seventh grade students SMP N 1 Ranah Pesisir, low. 40% from 25 students were difficulties in understanding them. The students difficulties of reading and structure understanding was caused less students’ concentration in learning, students’ learning habit which mistake, and students’ bored in English learning, beside teacher rarely did correction on students’ task.
Numerical literacy is an ability that needs and is very important to improve. So it is necessary to do research to improve students' numeracy literacy skills with the PBL model. This research is a quantitative research. The research method is pretest-posttest design with purposive sampling technique. Samples were selected randomly from the population. The population of this study were high school students in the South coast district. The sample was selected from schools that have A accreditation because seen from the data obtained, there are more schools that are accredited B and others. The conclusion is obtained by looking at the results of the given numeracy literacy skills which have previously been validated by experts in their fields. The conclusion obtained is that the achievement of the control class using PBL can effectively improve students' numeracy literacy skills, while the control class has not provided an effective increase in students' numeracy literacy abilities.
This study aims to determine the influence of perceptions about the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher in the students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan students. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was 31 students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan who had implemented PLK. Data were collected through a questionnaire/questionnaire and analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (IBM SPSS Statistic 22) program. The results showed that there was an influence of perceptions about the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher by students of STKIP Pesisir Selatan by 23.3% and 76.7% influenced by other variables outside this study
