Abstract:The classical mathematical theories have their difficulties which are pointed out in [18] for the solution complicated problems in engineering and environment. To overcome these difficulties, Molodtsov [18] introduced the concept of soft set as a new mathematical tool. Furthermore, D. Pei and D. Miao [22] showed that soft sets are a class of special information systems. In [9] for the soft set theory: new definitions, examples, new classes of soft sets, and properties for mappings between different classes of soft sets are introduced and studied. Moreover, the theory of soft topological spaces is investigated. This paper continues the study of the theory of soft topological spaces and presents for this theory new definitions, characterizations, and results concerning separation axioms, convergence, Cartesian product, soft θ -topology, and soft θ -continuity.

Let Y and Z be two fixed topological spaces and C(Y, Z) the set of all continuous maps from Y into Z. We construct and study topologies on C(Y, Z) that we call F n (τ n )-family-open topologies. Furthermore, we find necessary and sufficient conditions such that these topologies to be splitting and jointly continuous. Finally, we present questions concerning a further study on this area.

Let ω 1 be the first uncountable ordinal, α < ω 1 an ordinal, and Y, Z two topological spaces. By B α (Y, Z) we denote the set of all Borel maps of class α from Y into Z and by G Z α (Y) the set consisting of all subsets f −1 (U), where f ∈ B α (Y, Z) and U is an open subset of Z. In this paper we introduce and investigate topologies on the sets B α (Y, Z) and G Z α (Y). More precisely, we generalize the results presented by Arens, Dugundji, Aumann, and Rao (see [1], [2], [3], and [10]) for Borel maps of class α.

Έστω Y, Z τοπολογικοί χώροι, C(Y,Z) το σύνολο των συνεχών απεικονίσεων του χώρου Y στο χώρο Z, Μ(Υ,Ζ) το σύνολο των μετρήσιμων απεικονίσεων του χώρου Y στο χώρο Z, σ_{Ζ}(τ_{Υ}) το σύνολο που αποτελείται από τα υποσύνολα f^{-1}(B) του Y, όπου f\in M(Y,Z) και B μετρήσιμο υποσύνολο του Z, και B(Y,Z) το σύνολο των Baire απεικονίσεων του χώρου Y στο χώρο Z. Επί του συνόλου C(Y,Z) ορίζουμε τοπολογίες τις οποίες καλούμε F_n(τ_n) -family-open. Μελετάμε τις τοπολογίες αυτές και δίνουμε ικανές και αναγκαίες συνθήκες έτσι, ώστε να είναι διαχωριστικές και συνδετικά συνεχείς.Επί του συνόλου M(Y,Z) ορίζουμε και μελετάμε τις έννοιες των μετρήσιμων και χωριστά μετρήσιμων A -διαχωριστικών και A -συνδετικά συνεχών τοπολογιών, όπου A είναι μία οικογένεια τοπολογικών χώρων. Επισημαίνουμε ότι επί του M(Y,Z) , γενικά, δεν υπάρχει η μεγαλύτερη χωριστά μετρήσιμη A-διαχωριστική τοπολογία. Το γεγονός αυτό αποτελεί ένα διαφορετικό αποτέλεσμα από τη κλασσική θεωρία των χώρων συναρτήσεων. Επίσης, παρουσιάζουμε και μελετάμε σχέσεις μεταξύ των τοπολογιών επί των συνόλων Μ(Υ,Ζ) και σ_{Ζ}(τ_{Υ}) , όσον αφορά τις έννοιες των μετρήσιμων και χωριστά μετρήσιμων A - διαχωριστικών και A-συνδετικά συνεχών τοπολογιών. Ανάλογα αποτελέσματα παρουσιάζουμε για τοπολογίες επί του συνόλου B(Y,Z). Τέλος, θεωρούμε τα σύνολα B^{α}(Y,Z) , όπου α < ω_{1} , των Borel απεικονίσεων τύπου α του χώρου Y στο χώρο Z και G^{Z}_{α}(Υ) που αποτελείται από όλα τα υποσύνολα f^{-1}(U) , όπου f\in B^{α}(Y,Z) και U ανοικτό υποσύνολο του χώρου Z. Επί των συνόλων B^{α}(Y,Z) και G^{Z}_{α}(Υ) ορίζουμε νέες τοπολογίες και ερευνούμε σχέσεις μεταξύ των τοπολογιών αυτών.
