Este artigo se propõe a discutir o trajeto de muçulmanos no nordeste do Brasil (litoral da Paraíba e agreste de Pernambuco) a partir de aportes antropológicos da teoria de Deleuze & Guattari (1995), Latour (2012), Strathern (2014) e Ingold (2015). Por meio de análise de conteúdos realizamos a pesquisa em comunidades virtuais da internet. Propomos uma reflexão sobre a realidade do campo de pesquisa nessas comunidades, a partir de pressupostos teóricos e novas realidades digitais que me fazem seguir os rastros dos caminhos digitais do e-Islã entre conversos pernambucanos e paraibanos, de modo a mapear a teia islâmica (Al-Web) nesses contextos: circuitos, trajetos, aprendizados e práticas dos muçulmanos (socialidades) de modo local e os seus diálogos transnacionais.
Este trabalho investiga a construção de identidades muçulmanas entre os revertidos brasileiros na comunidade islâmica sunita, cidade de João Pessoa-Paraíba, Brasil. Por meio da observação participante e análise dos discursos dos adeptos da religião islâmica, objetivamos compreender como se dá a apreensão do sagrado e da religiosidade; bem como as formas de sociabilidades deste grupo. Buscamos também considerar, a partir das práticas islâmicas, como os indivíduos reorganizam o seu cotidiano, atentando para códigos morais, religiosos e socioeconômicos, que envolvem as formas de construção desta identidade. Assim, analisamos como se dá a constituição da identidade religiosa destes sujeitos ante a dogmática e práticas de uma religião tradicional como a islâmica.
Neste artigo, propomos abordar as implicações da quarentena, causada pela pandemia de covid-19, durante o período do Ramadan e da Festa do Eid Alfitr, entre os muçulmanos da comunidade sunita de João Pessoa, capital da Paraíba. Utilizamos pesquisas bibliográficas e nas redes sociais, além de conversas por mídias digitais para coleta dos relatos com os entrevistados. Os resultados tratam da abordagem antropológica, sobre os efeitos da quarentena para os indivíduos e suas relações sociais, especificamente nas práticas religiosas de muçulmanos no nordeste do Brasil.
