Production of construction materials every year production increases, thus increasing emissions pollutants into the atmosphere subjected to cleaning. At the enterprises of building materials production equipment becoming outdated both morally and physically exhausted their useful life. Technological design standards in the operation of purification equipment has undergone a number of changes. There are a large number of works devoted to the theory of cyclone separation. They examined calculation method and to determine the minimum size of particles is separated completely from the air stream in a cyclone. In theory, the high efficiency cyclones are relatively small separation of particles from the air stream. The experiments show that certain fractions of full capture occurs from the cyclones and out relatively large particles. Designed dust device hubs. They capture dust particles with low specific density and smaller than 5-10 microns. Rational use of hubs is achieved in the aspiration systems high performance. They are placed in front of or between the filter and the cyclone filter. Hub much reduces the amount of dust-laden air directed onto a thin cleaning. This reduces energy consumption for manufacturing as a whole, as well as, due to a possible decrease in performance fine filters, reducing their initial cost, metal consumption, maintenance costs and reduce the area occupied by them.
For the last 15-20 years in Europe and in the USA the new technologies allowing to reduce temperature of hashing and consolidation of the asphalt concrete mix prepared on viscous bitumen by 20-40 °C were developed. Thus characteristics of a covering in comparison with use of traditional hot asphalt concrete don't worsen. One of ways of achievement of effect is application of special chemical additives. Results of researches of influence of the additives developed by authors together with the enterprise of "Selena" for production of warm asphalt concrete of the series «RAA WAC» on properties of bitumen and asphalt concrete in comparison with a known additive of Evotherm J1 are given in the real work.It is established that the studied additives at increase of their concentration in knitting a little reduce conditional viscosity of bitumen, raise tensile properties at a temperature of 25 °C, practically don't influence softening temperature.
One of the main factors is the structure of asphalt concrete. The most important structural component in asphalt concrete is mineral powder, the quality of which depends on the technical and operational characteristics of the road surface. Different methods of processing mineral materials are used to improve the performance of asphalt concrete in Russia and abroad. In most cases, mechanical activation with organic substances is used during the grinding process. The article presents the results of research on the effect of treatment of mineral powder with the preparation GF-1 on its characteristics and on changes in the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt concrete, as well as on indicators for long-term water saturation. It is shown that as a result of modification, the mineral powder becomes hydrophobic, which has a positive effect on the physical and mechanical characteristics of asphalt concrete with its use. It is found that hydrophobization of mineral powder significantly reduces water saturation and swelling; increases water resistance during long-term water saturation (up to 90 days) of asphalt concrete samples. As a result of hydrophobization, the temperature sensitivity of asphalt concrete increases significantly. Therefore, the composite will work reliably in a wider temperature range.
One of the ways to improve the asphalt mixes properties is a binder modification that is part of them, with polymer additives. Ethylene copolymer with vinyl acetate as a modifying additive for the road bitumen is considered in the article. The content of the vinyl acetate amount of groups influence in the sevilen composition on the binder properties was investigated.
Building materials production generates a large amount of harmful substances poisoning the atmosphere. One of the major sources polluting cities environment is metallurgical industry. Concentration is one of the most important processes where empty components are extracted from the rock. During ore concentration, an increasing number of manmade wastes are generated; they pollute the air and huge area around the factories discharging these wastes. This reduces both space for people to live and place for cities to function and develop. It should be noted that metal production enterprises have accumulated billions of tons of industrial wastes (tailings) that include a large amount of iron-containing materials and rocks; these can be used as building materials, for example, when preparing fine-grained concrete as a mineral powder as well as in construction of roads, houses, in paint production, etc.
the article presents the results of testing asphalt samples based on activated mineral powder from silica-containing raw materials. Activated filler was obtained by joint grinding of waste wet magnetic separation (WMS) of ferruginous quartzites of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly in a spherical planetary mill in the presence of surfactants (stearic acid, adhesive additive Amdor-10) and bitumen. First of all, it should be noted that the use of activated mineral powder in the composition of asphalt concrete mixture led to an increase in the packing density of the composite. This was reflected not only in the technological process, but also contributed to the decrease in the porosity of the mineral core. It was found that the use of surfactants in the process of grinding mineral powder made it possible to increase the strength of asphalt concrete samples. However, the change in the crack resistance and shear resistance of asphalt concrete specimens, determined from the ratio of the corresponding compressive strengths, did not occur (table). This is due to the fact that there has been a proportional change in all the strength characteristics at different temperatures. Analysis of the physical-mechanical characteristics of the properties of asphalt concrete led to the conclusion that it was possible to use activated mineral powder from waste WMS as a component of asphalt concrete mixtures.
