Анотація. Забур'янення посівів біоенергетичних культур навіть у межах однієї ґрунтово-кліматичної зони має свою специфіку. Ці особливості передусім пов'язані з умовами, що складаються в посівах різних культур, початком і тривалістю їх вегетації, специфічними алелопатичними відносинами, вимогами до обробітку ґрунту та особливостями догляду за рослинами. Мета досліджень. Визначити фотосинтетичний потенціал бур'янів у посівах проса прутоподібного залежно від його густоти. Завдання досліджень: встановити фотосинтетичні параметри бур'янів упосівах проса прутоподібного залежно від його густоти Методи досліджень. Використані загальноприйняті та спеціальні методи: польовий-вивчення умов вирощування та агрозаходів на показники продуктивності проса прутоподібного; лабораторний-визначення кількісних та якісних ознак; статистичний-встановлення математичних моделей та статистичних залежностей між досліджуваними факторами та процесами. Результати. Встановлено, що за густоти посівів проса прутоподібного 100 шт./м 2 фотосинтетичний потенціал рослин зріс до-1,00, а от сумарний фотосинтетичних потенціал бур'янів за такої густоти становив 3,1 млн. м 2 діб/га. У подальшому, за збільшення густоти культурних рослин до 150 шт./м 2 їх фотосинтетичний потенціал зріс до рівня 1,46 а в бур'янів знизився до 2,5 млн. м 2 діб/га. За максимальної, в досліді, густоти рослин проса прутоподібного 200 шт./м 2 їх фотосинтетичний потенціал був максимальним-1,88, а от сумарний фотосинтетичних потенціал бур'янів за такої густоти складав 2,1 млн. м 2 діб/га, у певній мірі відповідаючи параметрам культурних рослин.
