In the process of educating modern schoolchildren, martial arts classes become important, namely judo classes, which can be used to develop not only physical qualities and abilities, but also moral and volitional characteristics, the development of which significantly affects the formation of a personality. The article considers the results of experimental work on the implementation of the technology of moral and volitional education of high school students who practice judo. The technology of moral and volitional upbringing of children by means of judo included three stages: value-oriented; development and harmonization; improvement and generalization of moral and volitional qualities. At all stages, the emphasis of the predominant action shifted to the structural components of the moral and volitional sphere: cognitive, emotional, volitional, motivational, and behavioral. The purpose and objectives of the above-mentioned stages determined the specifics of sports activities, the role and position of the coach-tutor, forms, and methods of education, as well as features of pedagogical interaction with parents and school, aimed at improving the moral and volitional education of young judokas. Thus, the need for pedagogical justification of teaching judo to students determines the relevance of our study, which identified pedagogical conditions, as well as identified the core elements of the technology of moral and volitional education of students by judo, which became the novelty of the research. The following research methods were used to solve the problems: analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological sources on the peculiarities of the development of moral and volitional qualities; pedagogical observation. It is established that the most important sources of moral and volitional formation of student youth at the initial stage of classes are the study of history, jute etiquette. Collective development of etiquette leads to group self-regulation. Students willingly participate in the process of self-control and control of group behavior. For an objective assessment of the moral and volitional upbringing of students also developed criteria and indicators determined by the purpose of the formation of the moral and volitional sphere of the student's personality. Improvement of moral and volitional qualities and experience of moral and volitional behavior was carried out.
The article examines the peculiarities of the process of formation of professional ethics of judo coaches as the value-content basis of their professional competence. Judo as a sport, according to Japanese traditions, has its own philosophical component and is based on three main principles: mutual help and understanding to achieve progress; the best use of body and spirit; submit to win. The creation of conditions for the formation of professional ethics of a judo coach significantly affects the learning process and the formation of positive ethical guidelines for future coaches. Professional ethics is a multifunctional discipline that is reflected in all spheres of human life. Thus, physical culture and sports act as transmitters of high spiritual and moral values in athletes, the formation of which is influenced by the coach, since he must possess the appropriate knowledge, abilities and skills. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the peculiarities of the formation of professional ethics in future judo coaches. It has been proven that the professional activity of a judo coach has specific features that are determined by this type of martial arts and its philosophy. The core of the general culture of the individual is education and education in their harmonious combination. Compliance with ethical norms in judo is an undeniable truth, because in the modern realities of sports matches, controversial issues and violations of professional ethics by coaches constantly arise. The training of a judoka is a complex hierarchically structured system, which includes not only the formation and development of special motor actions and physical qualities or abilities, but also the education of certain moral and spiritual values and norms. An important element of this system is the trainer. It was established that among the important factors that shape the professional ethics of judo coaches is the understanding that: 1) students are not perfect and, accordingly, can make mistakes; 2) creation of a favorable climate in the sports team, where interesting competitive tasks dominate, which increases mutual understanding between the coach and the athlete; 3) the use of various teaching techniques and pedagogical influence improves the quality of the training process; 4) young judokas are able to learn the educational and training program in different ways. Indicators of the professional ethics of a judo coach during training and competitive activities are: sociability (17.2%), benevolence (15.4%), tact (8.7%), tolerance (10.7%), sense of proportion (13.2%), striving for self-improvement (12.4%), justice (11.8%), striving to understand others (5.3%), creative activity (2.6%), etc. These qualities characterize the level of professional and personal development of the coach in professional interaction with the standards of behavior that follow from the ethical code of judo. The structure and content of professional ethics, ethical qualities and pedagogical values of judo coaches is carried out in the training process, where the target direction, content and nature of professional and pedagogical activities are determined.
The scientific article presents the scientific rationale for implementing the method of developing the speed and strength abilities of 10th – 11th grade students using judo in the extracurricular educational and training process. It has been proven that the above-mentioned technique contributes to the positive assimilation of theoretical material on judo, activates the interest of students in physical education and sports activities. The purpose of the study is to investigate the level of theoretical training of 10 – 11 grade students in the process of implementing the methodology of developing speed and strength abilities using judo. The following research methods were used to solve the tasks in the research: study and generalization of data from scientific and methodical literature, questionnaires, observations, conversations, methods of mathematical statistics. The article described the questionnaire for determining the level of theoretical knowledge, which was developed according to three levels of complexity in accordance with the author's methodology for the development of speed and strength abilities of students of grades 10 – 11, which became a novelty of the study. In the article, a comparative analysis of the level of theoretical knowledge among students of the experimental group was carried out. Without deep knowledge of judo, it is impossible to achieve high results in sports activities. Since the low level of theoretical training leads to the fact that the judoka student does not fully understand the task that the coach sets before him during training sessions. Misunderstanding contributes to the appearance of passivity in the training process, leads to the incorrect execution of technical and tactical actions or special judo exercises. The lack of activity and participation of the student-judoka in the educational and training process breaks the «trainer-student» relationship, which significantly contributes to the reduction of the effectiveness of the educational and training process. Theoretical training is aimed at students' acquisition of specific knowledge of judo, as well as at increasing their intellectual and theoretical level, which contributes to athletic growth in the chosen sport. After all, during educational and training sessions, the coach connects specific tasks and exercises with certain theoretical information. This helps to stimulate the desire of judo students to make their own conclusions and make decisions in practice, as well as to analyze and understand their actions in the process of educational and training and sports activities, etc.
