[1] We give an alternative description of the data produced in the KamLAND experiment. Assuming the existence of a natural nuclear reactor on the boundary of the liquid and solid phases of the Earth's core, a geoantineutrino spectrum is obtained. This assumption is based on the experimental results of V. Anisichkin and his collaborators on the interaction of uranium dioxide and uranium carbide with iron-nickel and silica-alumina melts at high pressure (5-10 GPa) and temperature (1600-2200°C), which led to the proposal of the existence of an actinide shell in the Earth's core. We describe the operating mechanism of this reactor as solitary waves of nuclear burning in 238 U and/or 232 Th medium, in particular, as neutron fission progressive waves of Feoktistov and/or Teller et al. type. Next, we propose a simplified model for the accumulation and burn-up kinetics in Feoktistov's U-Pu fuel cycle. We also apply this model for numerical simulations of neutron fission wave in a two-phase UO 2 /Fe medium on the surface of the Earth's solid core. The proposed georeactor model offers a mechanism for the generation of
In this paper we advocate for the idea that two seemingly unrelated mysteries with almost 90 year history-the nature of dark matter and the million-degree solar corona-may be but two sides of the same coin-the axions of dark matter born in the core of the Sun and photons of axion origin in the million-degree solar corona, whose modulations are controlled by the anticorrelated modulation of the asymmetric dark matter (ADM) density in the solar interior.
We demonstrate a new technique for calculating proton-proton inelastic cross-section, which allows one by application of the Laplace' method replace the integrand in the integral for the scattering amplitude in the vicinity of the maximum point by expression of Gaussian type. This, in turn, allows us to overcome the computational difficulties for the calculation of the integrals expressing the cross section to sufficiently large numbers of particles. We have managed to overcome these problems in calculating the proton-proton inelastic cross-section for production (n ≤ 8) number of secondary particles in within the framework of φ3 model. As the result the obtained dependence of inelastic cross-section and total scattering cross-section on the energy √s are qualitative agrees with the experimental data. Such description of total cross-section behavior differs considerably from existing now description, where reggeons exchange with the intercept greater than unity is considered
We demonstrate a possibility of computation of inelastic scattering cross-section in a multi-peripheral model by application of the Laplace method to multidimensional integral over the domain of physical process. Founded the constrained maximum point of scattering cross-section integral under condition of the energy-momentum conservation. The integrand is substituted for an expression of Gaussian type in the neighborhood of this point. It made possible to compute this integral numerically. The paper has two parts. The hunting procedure of the constrained maximum point is considered and the properties of this maximum point are discussed in the given part of the paper. It is shown that virtuality of all internal lines of the “comb” diagram reduced at the constrained maximum point with energy growth. In the second part of the paper we give some the arguments in favor of consideration of the mechanism of virtuality reduction as the mechanism of the total hadron scattering cross-section growth, which is not taken into account within the framework of Regge theory
Physical fundamentals of traveling wave reactor are considered. We show that the condition of existence of nuclear burning soliton-like wave in a neutron-multiplying medium is determined in general by two conditions. The first condition (necessary) is determined by relationship between the equilibrium concentration and critical concentration of active (fissionable) isotope that is a consequence of the Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization condition. The second condition (sufficient) is set by the so-called Wigner quantum statistics, or more accurately, by a statistics of the Gaussian simplectic ensembles with respect to the parameter that describes the squared width of burning wave front of nuclear fuel active component.
a b s t r a c tBased on theoretical and experimental consideration of the first (the Twomey effect) and second indirect aerosol effects the quasianalytic description of physical connection between the galactic cosmic rays intensity and the Earth's cloud cover is obtained. It is shown that the basic equation of the Earth's climate energy-balance model is described by the bifurcation equation (with respect to the temperature of the Earth's surface) in the form of assemblytype catastrophe with the two governing parameters defining the variations of insolation and Earth's magnetic field (or the galactic cosmic rays intensity in the atmosphere), respectively. The principle of hierarchical climatic models construction, which consists in the structural invariance of balance equations of these models evolving on different time scales, is described.
Abstract:We demonstrate a new method to calculate inelastic scattering cross-sections, which in contrary to the Regge-based methods takes into account the energy momentum conservation law. It is shown that the main contribution to integral expressing inelastic scattering cross-sections does not come from the multiRegge domain. In particular, accounting for the longitudinal momenta contribution to virtualities is sufficient and results in the new mechanism of cross-section growth. The reasons for taking into account the sufficiently high number of interference contributions are shown and the approximate method for this purpose is developed. By fitting single free parameter of the model achieved a qualitative agreement of the total and inelastic cross sections with experimental data. 13.85Tp, 12.40Ee,11.15Bt, 12.40Nn, 13.75Cs
