This study aims to describe the problem-solving skills that students learn from emotional intelligence. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative. The instruments used are questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The questionnaire instrument was used to measure students' emotional intelligence. The test instrument was used to measure problem-solving skills, and interviews were conducted to learn more about problem-solving skills. The subjects of this study were 5 of 15 students from class VIII who were taken as a sample and then given an ability test and analysis based on Krulik and Rudnick's problem-solving steps. Subjects with high emotional intelligence can understand the context of the problem and represent the problem with pictures. Students can link between information, use appropriate strategies or steps, and relevant answers and conclusions. The subject with medium emotional intelligence is rewriting information on the problem using mathematical models and their language. Subjects can relate information, but not all students' answers are correct. Subjects with low emotional intelligence do not make representations or use clear problem-solving strategies. Subjects cannot relate information, so they do wrong calculations and only guess the answer.
Digital technology can help the learning process in achieving a good and maximum learning process. One of the technologies that can be utilized in learning mathematics is the e-book creator, which is used with learning designs by linking mathematical material to the context in the Al-Qur'an. It was used so students could understand the material well and have religious values from the non-text Al-Qur'an presented. This study aims to create media and resources for learning mathematics in the context of the Qur'an. The used e-module development model is 4D: definition, design, development, and dissemination are all stages of 4D model development. The data collection instrument used a validation instrument as a valuable data collection tool whether or not the e-book creator is being developed. Moreover, the practicality instrument is a practicality aspect test given to students after participating in the learning process using the developed product. However, with 3.61 for material experts and 3.74 for media experts with the criteria of being tested, this e-module is still only at the development stage. The students' responses to the Islamic-based e-module were 84 percent, with the "Very Eligible" criteria fulfilled.
Students in learning English "difficult, vocabulary, boring, do not understand". This is due to the lack of English vocabulary that students have regarding pronunciation and pronunciation. Lack of interesting and not boring learning media to help students expand their vocabulary when learning English. The purpose of this research is to make a Word Square media product supported by the Canva application in learning English that is valid as an experiment to expand the vocabulary of seventh grade junior high school students. The method used is 4D model development. This research is only limited to development, namely the third stage only. The results of the verification score were 4.47 from both media and 4.81 from both material expert verifiers in the very valid category. From the evaluation results, it was found that the Word Square media supported by the Canva application is suitable for learning English.
This study aims to make traditional books that were packaged electronically with an ethnomathematics approach to traditional snacks, which was adapted from Bruner's theory by presenting three stages of Bruner's theory as enactive, iconic, and symbolic by incorporating elements of traditional snacks as an ethnomathematics approach as an effort to build students' mathematical understanding abilities. The method used the 4-D concept by using questionnaires and test instruments so that this media was valid and suitable for use as a medium in learning mathematics. The results showed a score of 3.86 for material experts and 3.74 for media experts, with 82% eligibility criteria to improve students' mathematical understanding abilities. The response to the ethnomathematics-based e-book was 91% with the "Very Eligible" criteria. It can be concluded that this e-book was developed to meet valid criteria and is practical and effective in use.
