litian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran faktor internal dan eksternal terhadap kinerja 164 Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di daerah Depok dan Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi dan diperdalam dengan uji regresi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja UMKM dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yaitu manajemen operasional, pemasaran, dan teknis. Selain itu, situasi industri juga turut memengaruhi kinerja UMKM. Apabila faktor-faktor tersebut diperkuat, hal ini akan meningkatkan posisi UMKM di pasar. Pada sisi lain, faktor tersebut juga meningkatkan keberlangsungan usaha dalam jangka panjang.
The increasing interaction between employees and consumers is one of the common phenomenon occurred in the development of service sector which involves certain emotional expression. Emotions at work can be related to job burnout and other work outcomes such as employees' organizational commitment. Emotions at work and its outcomes are deemed important in occupation such as hospital nurse as they can affect the quality of service given to the patients. This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional labor toward organizational commitment and the role of job burnout as mediator using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. Research data were collected from 330 hospital nurses using questionnaire. The study result showed that emotional labor has a positive effect toward job burnout, job burnout has a negative effect toward organizational commitment, meanwhile emotional labor has no significant direct effect toward organizational commitment, but was found mediated by job burnout. Future directions can be utilized to improve the hospital nurses' behaviors at work in providing health services.
The increasing movements on the implementation of environmental sustainability and its impact on business performance become one of the important discussions on the strategic management field. Organizations are forced to major environmental initiatives to answer the green business inquiries. Constructed from the organizational capabilities literature of strategic management, this study explains how organizations strengthen their performances toward the implementation of environmentaly friendly or also called as ecofriendly business strategy and proposes hypotheses to answer the questions on how the organizational capabilities that represents internal organizational factors affect business performance through the mediating effect of eco-friendly strategy implementation Using a model integrating resource-based theory, institutional theory, and strategic business unit perspectives, this study tests the causalities upon the hotel industry in Indonesia which currently facing the force to adopt environmental friendly business practices due to the expansive development within the industry. This study used SPSS software followed by mediation test to analyze the mediating effect of eco-friendly strategy implementation on the relationship between organizational strategic capabilities and business performance. Research data were collected through the questionnaires, resulting 109 data from two-starred and above hotels across major cities in Indonesia. The findings of this study indicate that organizational strategic capabilities have a positive and significant effect on eco-friendly strategy implementation and business performances respectively while the mediating effect of Eco-friendly strategy implementation were partially found.Drawing from these results, the implications of the findings upon industrial, policies, and further research avenues are discussed.
In these dynamic work environments, work demands stressors, namely job insecurity and conflict between work and family, can cause stress, which has become increasingly prevalent. The influence of the three chronic stressors on work outcomes documented by previous studies indicates a great challenge that is important to be analyzed further. To address the issue, this study integrates the role of a psychological factor in explaining the relationship by analyzing the perceptions of employees who are implementing flexible work arrangements. This study investigates the effect of job insecurity, work-family conflict, and family-work conflict on work engagement and job performance through the mediation role of psychological well-being. Data from 578 employees were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that increased perceptions of job insecurity, work-family conflict, and family-work conflict could harm psychological well-being, which, in turn, influence work engagement and job performance.
Organizations and employees must be alert and adaptive in facing volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment. Uncertainty in the workplace as well as the workforce can pose a threat to performance. This study aims to analyse the effect of mediating role of psychological well-being in explaining the impact of job insecurity towards work engagement and job performance of employees working in a flexible work arrangement. This study used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) in the analysis. Study data were collected from 206 employees across various sectors in Indonesia. The findings showed that psychological well-being was found to be fully mediating the impact of job insecurity towards employees' work engagement and job performance. Future directions highlight the importance of providing job security to employees and maintaining employees' psychological well-being to boost engagement and performance thus provides benefits to the organizations.
