Prof. Dipl.-lng. Dietrich Neumann, geb. 1929, arbeitete nach seinem Architekturstudium an der TH Darmstadt zunächst in Architekturbüros und Behörden. Danach wechselte er an das Battelle-lnstitut in Frankfurt/M. und war dort als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Projektleiter für Groß-und Spezialprojekte im ln-und Ausland verantwortlich . Ab 1964 folgte die Tätigkeit im eigenen Architekturbüro und als Dozent. 1972 wurde er als Professor an die FH Darmstadt berufen für die Fachgebiete Baukonstruktionslehre, Baubetrieb und Entwerfen. ln Zusammenarbeit mit Prof. Weinbrenner veröffentlicht er seit 1975 sechs Auflagen der Frick/Knöll Baukonstruktionslehre Teil 1 und 2. Prof. Dipl.-lng. Ulrich Weinbrenner, geb. 1935, war nach seinem Studium an der Akademie für Bildende Künste in Stuttgart für namhafte Architekturbüros tätig . Daran schloss sich eine mehrjährige Auslandstätigkeit in Stockholm an. Dort befasste er sich mit der Planung und Ausführung von Großprojekten. Zum wissenschaftlichen Assistenten und Lehrbeauftragten an der TH Darmstadt wurde er 1965 ernannt, 1972 erfolgte die Berufung als Professor an die FH Darmstadt für die Lehrgebiete Entwerfen, Baukonstruktion und lnnenausbau. Sein Architektur-und Innenarchitekturbüro ist bundesweit tätig. Zusammen mit Prof. Neumann bearbeitet er seit 1975 die Frick/Knöll Baukonstruktionslehre Teil 1 und 2. Prof. Dipl.-lng . Ulf Hestermann, geb. 1954, hat nach seinem Studium an der Fachhochschule Aachen und der RWTH-Aachen 1980 ein bundesweit tätiges Architektur-und Ingenieurbüro gegründet. Im Rahmen dieser Tätigkeit war er mit Projekten für die technische Infrastruktur sowie Gewerbe-und Wohnungsbaumaßnahmen mit den Arbeitsschwerpunkten Teilvorfertigung und Systembauweisen in Holz und Beton tätig . Die Berufstätigkeit wurde fortlaufend durch Assistententätigkeiten sowie Lehrbeauftragungen begleitet. Er wurde 1991 zum Professor für Baukonstruktion, Entwerfen und Gebäudeplanung an die Fachhochschule Erfurt berufen und ist weiterhin in der Geschäftsleitung des eigenen Architekturbüros tätig.
