Decrease in quality of sweet corn during distribution or storage could be represented by decrease of sugar as a result of continously repiration. Packaging could significantly reduces postharvest respiration and transpiration rate of crops and also extend its shelf life. This study aimed to determine the best primary packaging during disribution of sweet corn. Results of the study showed that polypropylene was the best primary packaging for husked corn during distribution and storage.
In principle, prioritizing stakeholders’ satisfaction is the philosophy of all educational institutions including Sekolah Tinggi Farmasi Muhammadiyah located in Tangerang Banten. Quality services in high education are services that can meet the needs of students and their expectations. Thus, this study aims to determine the effect of service quality (reliability, responsiveness, empathy, guarantee, direct evidence (physical evidence) on the satisfaction of students who use services and facilities. In addition, this study also aims to determine the most influential dimensions of service quality in providing satisfaction to students. The samples were 24 people from all population of 460 students, where the research data was collected through questionnaires. Validity instruments were tested using the construct validity test and reliability instruments were tested using the Cronbach Alpha. SPSS Statistics 24.00 was employed to analyze frequency statistics. Hypothesis results that have been tested on the frequency table are 95% internal evidence evidence (a-5%). The results of the study show that the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible have a positive effect on student satisfaction.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan adaptasi varietas padi gogo pada dua musim tanam yang berbeda. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan yaitu Tanam Musim Kemarau + varietas Batu Tegi (P1), Tanam Musim Kemarau + varietas Inpago 8 (P2), Tanam Musim Kemarau + varietas Situ Bagendit (P3), Tanam Musim Hujan + varietas Batu Tegi (P4), Tanam Musim Hujan + varietas Inpago 8 (P5), Tanam Musim Hujan + varietas Situ Bagendit (P6), kemudian diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanama tertinggi pada perlakukan padi gogo ditanam pada musim hujan menggunakan varietas Batu Tegi 124,46 cm. Penanaman padi gogo pada musim hujan mempunyai jumlah gabah isi per malai dan jumlah gabah per malai lebih tinggi dibanding ditanam pada musim kemarau dan berbanding terbalik dengan persentase gabah hampa tertinggi pada musim kemarau. Penanaman padi gogo varietas Inpago 8 dan Situ Bagendit pada dua musim tanam yang berbeda menunjukkan tidak terjadi perbedaan terhadap bobot 1000 butir, namun varietas Batu Tegi pada musim hujan (26,98 g) lebih tinggi dibanding tanam pada musim kemarau (24,88 g). Produktivitas padi gogo nyata dipengaruhi oleh waktu tanam karena berdasarkan hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa varietas Batu Tegi (6,20 t ha-1), Inpago 8 (5,87 t ha-1) dan Situ Bagendit (4,66 t ha-1) lebih tinggi pada musim kemarau dibanding ditanam pada musim hujan.
ABSTRAK Beras masih merupakan pangan utama bagi penduduk di Kalimantan Barat, kebutuhannya terus meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah penduduk. Sebagian besar lahan yang diguanakan oleh petani untuk budidaya padi adalah lahan pasang surut. Budidaya padi pada lahan pasang surut sering dihadapkan pada masalah fisiko kimia lahan diantaranya keracuanan besi (fe), kemasaman tanah yang tinggi (pH 4 - 5,5), kebanjiran, dan intrusi air asin. Upaya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas padi pada lahan pasang surut adalah dengan mengintroduksikan varietas unggul baru padi yang adaptif. Tujuan dari uji coba ini adalah untuk mengetahui adaptasi varietas unggul baru padi pada lahan pasang surut dan analisa usahataninya di Kalimantan Barat. Uji coba menggunkana Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Perlakuan berupa empat varietas unggul baru padi yaitu Inpari 36, Inpari 37, Inpari 39, dan Inpari 32 dengan lima ulangan. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, jumlah gabah isi per malai, persentase gabah isi per malai, dan produktivitas. Data dianalisis dengan Anova dan di uji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur. Analisis usaha tani menggunakan analisis Input – Output dan R/C ratio. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan varietas padi yang adaptif dan menguntungkan untuk dikembangkan pada lahan pasang surut di Kalimantan Barat adalah varietas Inpari 37 dengan produktivitas 7.2 t/ha, keuntungan usahatani Rp. 13,829,411, dan R/C rasio 1.74.
The rice field harvested area in West Kalimantan decreases each year around 0.96 kw/ha from 2013. The decline in rice production is due to climate change. The objective of this study to determine the potential and constraints of developing Planting Calendar (KATAM) to anticipate the impact of climate change in West Kalimantan. The study was conduct in Tujuh Belas Sub District, Bengkayang District, West Kalimantan from January to December 2018. This study was performed using demonstration plot by comparing the existing farming system, KATAM, and introduced technology. The analysis used a randomized block design (RBD), where each treatment was repeated 3 times. The result showed that the vegetative parameters for the height of the existing treatment were higher than other treatments (76.40 cm). For the parameters of the number of tillers, KATAM and Introduction pattern had a large number of tillers, namely around 18 per plant. The treatment with KATAM pattern also had a high number of pithy unhulled grains and low unhulled rice (139 and 42 unit/penicle). The weight of 1000 seeds and yield per hectare, the treatment using KATAM pattern had a higher weight and yield (27.07 gr and 5.30 ton / ha).
