A new approach is proposed for the characterization of Agilent 16380A-type four-terminal-pair (4TP) air dielectric capacitance standards, which in the present study ranged from 1 pF to 1000 pF up to 30 MHz. The main objective is to determine all residual parameters of the four-terminal-pair capacitor (C4TP) defined in previous investigations. The key feature of this study is to find all resonance frequencies of C4TP up to 500 MHz using 4TP impedance and admittance values calculated from scattering parameter measurements employing a vector network analyzer. Inductive residual parameters of C4TP are calculated from these resonance frequencies, and capacitive residual parameters are measured by using a 1 kHz capacitance bridge.
Abstrlef UME has improved a coaxial and bifilar type of resistors that have been widely used for determining of the resistance unit from DC to up to several kHz at many primary laboratories. This paper describes the modeling, construction and measurement results of the calculable resistors, which are specially designed in order to eliminate the effects of vibration and mechanical shocks during transportation, at a nominal value of 1 ld2, IO U2 and 12,906M.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
