Padang City is located on the West coast of Sumatra Island that borders directly with the Indian Ocean. The coastal region of the city stretches from Pasia Jambak beach, Muara Anai in the Northto Sungai Pisang in the South. The coast of South section is different from the coast of Northsection, because the Southern coastline is heterogeneous because there are many small bay, small islands and narrow beaches directly adjacent to the volcanic hills. This research aims to determine the dynamics condition of a coastal environment based on the characteristic (length, velocity, energy, and height), sediment transport value, accretion/abrasion factor value, and coastal equilibrium in Padang City.The method used in this study is the calculation of wavelength (L0 ), wave velocity (C), wave energy (E), run-up height (Hb ), and sediment transport (Q) to determine accretion/abrasion factor and equilibrium (G0 ). Furthermore, it is done by Geographic Information System (GIS) approach to spatial information of research location. Research result shows that coastal region(beach)in Padang City tends to experience accretion along the beach of Pasia Sabalah, Panjalinan North, Panjalinan South, Parkit, Purus South, Purus North, Muaro Padang, Air Manis North and Pasia Putih. While the abrasion conditions occur inPasia Jambak, Parupuk Tabing, Bung Hatta University beach, Air Manis South and Sungai Beremas.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk, 1) mengetahui tingkat bahaya banjir di Kota Sungai Penuh. 2) mengetahui Persebaran dan luas area bahaya banjir di Kota Sungai Penuh. 3) mengetahui distribusi spasial penduduk pada kawasan bahaya banjir di Kota Sungai Penuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pembobotan atau skoring. Luas wilayah peta administrasi di overlay dengan peta bahaya banjir, untuk menghitung distribusi penduduk = jumlah penduduk / jumlah piksel permukiman dalam administrasi. Temuan penelitian ini adalah wilayah tidak bahaya banjir dengan luas 12.343 ha (34%), bahaya banjir sedang dengan luas 4.276 ha (53%), bahaya banjir 4.276 ha (12%) sangat bahaya banjir dengan luas 505 ha dengan persentase (2%). Distribusi penduduk berdasarkan kelas sangat bahaya terdapat di Kecamatan Hamparan Rawang 13.384 jiwa dan yang paling rendah berada di Kecamatan Sungai Penuh 1.000 jiwa dalam bahaya banjir. AbstractThis research of aims are 1) to know the hazard of flooding in Sungai Penuh. 2). Knowing spatial distibution and area flood hazard in Sungai Penuh. 3). To know spatial distribution of the population in the area of the hazard of flooding in Sungai Penuh. This research is quantitative research using weighting or skoring. Calculating area of hazard flooding in Sungai Penuh the overlay map of the administration with the flood hazard map, the distribution of the population = population / number of pixels in administrastion. The result of the research are 12,343 ha (34% no hazard of flooding area, 4,276 ha (53%) medium of hazard, 4,276 ha (12%) hight of hazard flooding and 505 ha (2%) very hight of hazard flooding. Population distribution based on class is very hazard, there are in Hamparan Rawang District 13,384 population and the lowest is in Sungai Penuh District 1,000 population in hazard flooding.
ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Menganalisis kesesuaian kawasan wisata untuk ekosistem mangrove untuk pengembangan ekowisata di Desa Rawa Mekar Jaya, Kecamatan Sungai Apit, Kabupaten Siak. (2) Menganalisis strategi dalam pengembangan ekowisata mangrove Rawa Mekar Jaya Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, dan dokumentasi penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan teknik stratified sampling. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa Indeks Kesesuaian kawasan untuk Wisata mangrove di ekowisata mangrove Rawa Mekar Jaya tergolong ke dalam kategori Sesuai Bersyarat (SB). Pada stasiun 1 kesesuaiannya adalah 64 %, stasiun 2 kesesuaiannya ialah 61%, stasiun 3 kesesuaiannya ialah 53%, stasiun 4 kesesuaiannya ialah 58%. Strategi pengembangan ekowisata mangrove di desa Rawa Mekar Jaya adalah meningkatkan upaya penanaman mangrove pada wilayah pengembangan ekowisata mangrove sehingga mangrove dapat memenuhi kriteria sangat sesuai untuk kawasan wisata yang baik berdasarkan Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata (IKW), meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat lokal dalam mengembangkan kemampuan dan kreatifitas usaha wisata, seperti pembuatan souvenir dan mempromosikan wisata mangrove melalui internet dan media lainnya untuk menarik wisatawan, serta meningkatkan peran serta dinas terkait melalui penambahan sarana dan prasarana pendukung kegiatan wisata Kata Kunci: Ekowisata, Mangrove, Analisis kesesuaian ABSTRACTThe of aims research are (1) to analyze the suitability of tourism area for the mangrove's ecosystem in developing eco-tourism in Rawa Mekar region, district of Sungai Apit, Regency of Siak.(2) to analyze the strategy in developing mangrove eco-tourism in Rawa Mekar region, district of Sungai Apit, Regency of Siak. The method used in research is quantitative method. the method for collecting the data achieved by observation's result and research documentation. The technique in analyzing retrieval of sample using stratified sampling. The result shows that the index suitability for mangrove tourism in Rawa Mekar Jaya eco-tourism is categorizes as conditional suitable. Station 1 suitability is 64%, station 2 suitability is 61%, station 3 suitability is 53%, station 4 suitability is 58%. The strategy for developing mangrove eco-tourism is increase the mangrove plantings in mangrove eco-tourism development area so mangrove can fulfill the very appropriate area for a good tourism area based on the tourism index of suitability, increase the participation of local society in developing the ability and creativity of tourism business like creating souvenirs and promoting mangrove tourism which can be done through internet or other media in order to attract to tourist and increase the role of related officials through adding supporting facilities and infrastructures for the tourism activity.
