Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis peta pikiran yang valid, praktis dan efektif pada materi peluang untuk peserta didik kelas XI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and thedevelopment) dengan model 4-D (define, desain, develop, desemenaid). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI pada salah satu SMA di Sungai Penuh. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar validasi, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, lembar observasi aktivitas belajar, angket motivasi peserta didik dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya diolah dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis peta pikiran pada materi peluang yang telah dikembangkan berada pada kategori valid, praktis dan efektif. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil validasi modul oleh ahli dengan nilai rata-rata 76,95% termasuk kategari valid dan hasil uji kepraktisan modul oleh peserta didik nilai rata-rata 82,72% termasuk kategori sangat praktis dan guru dengan nilai rata-rata 75,3% termasuk kategori praktis. Selain itu, hasil uji efektivitas modul berdasarkan data aktivitas peserta didik menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan yaitu pertemuan I, II dan III dengan rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik 70%, 72,22 dan 81,11%. Angket motivasi berada pada kriteria sangat termotivasi dengan rata-rata persentase motivasi peserta didik dalam belajar adalah 80,8%. Sedangkan hasil tes diperolah 88,9% artinya tingkat kelulusan peserta didik lebih dari 75%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis peta pikiran pada materi peluang layak dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar bagi pesrta didik kelas XI.
Based on the results of observations made at SMA N 5 Sungai Penuh known that in the mathematics learning process students do not understand the learning material well, the ability of students to develop material concepts and solve problems in the form of practice questions given by the teacher is still lacking, students are lacking of self-confidence to ask if there is material that has not been understood, students also cannot develop their thinking ideas creatively. This means that the ability to think creatively and critically of students has not developed optimally. The specific purpose of this research is to develop and produce teaching materials in the form of mind mapping-based modules for learning mathematics, which are valid, practical and effective and can increase students' motivation, activities and learning outcomes, especially in the material opportunities. This development research consists of four stages, namely; the define stage, the design stage, the develop stage and the disseminate stage. The validation results with the valid category indicated by an average value of 76%. The practicality results with the practical category are shown by an average value of 75.3%. Effectiveness results with the effective category in terms of the aspects of activity, student motivation, and from the aspect of achievement of learning outcomes.
Based on the results of the author's initial observations on December 21, 2022 at SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci in class VIII carrying out individual tasks, there are still students who cheat. In addition, the lack of learning planning from teachers by choosing a mathematical learning model that suits the learning style of students, the need for consideration for teachers of the nature of mathematics subjects in carrying out learning to students. The purpose of this study is to influence the learning media of geogebra applications on the critical thinking ability of mathematics students of SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci class VIII. Based on the problem to be studied, namely to see the influence of mathematics learning outcomes of students who are taught using geogebra learning media in class VIII of SMP N 7 Kerinci, this research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The design used in this study is the One Group Pretest Post Test. The data analysis used in this study includes normality, homogeneity and hypothesis tests. Based on the pretest and postest that the author did, the average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes was 70.14 and 77.46, respectively. The average posttest score is higher than the average pretest score of students. Furthermore, based on data analysis using the t-test, a significance value (p-value) of < ∝ or in other words 0.000 < 0.05 means that H1 is accepted or in other words there is an influence of geogebra learning media on mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yangbertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi Teorema Phytagoras yang valid, praktis dan efektif bagi siswa Sekolah Menegah Pertama. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Model Thiagarajan atau Model 4-D yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Perangkat pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifik yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh pakar dan praktisi serta telah mengalami revisi sehingga didapatkan hasil yang layak digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifik bersifat valid, praktis, dan efektif. Dikatakan efektif karena perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi RPP, Buku Siswa dan LKS seluruhnya memenuhi kriteria kevalidan dengan kategori "Sangat Valid", dikatakan praktis karena perangkat pembelajaran ini memiliki derajat keterlaksanaan dengan kategori terlaksana seluruhnya dan nilai reliabilitasnya kategori “reliabel” dan dikatakan efektif karena telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan.
This study aims to determine the location of the difficulties that cause difficulties in learning algebra in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kerinci. This study uses a qualitative method with a population of all eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kerinci. The sample of this study was 9 students of class VIII A and 9 students of class VIII B selected through sampling techniques. The sampling technique used is using a nonprobability sampling technique that is a purposive sample. Data obtained from tests and interviews. The data analysis technique is data reduction and data presentation.
