Religiosityis one of protective factor toward adolescents’ risked behavior. It is so important to teach them the religious value to family. The understanding of reproductive health will be easier to be received by adolescents and society if the process of delivering the content always consider the values and norm held by society. The previous research finding has been developed to a school-based reproductive health promotion for younger adolescents who have not faced akhil baliq (menarche or semenarche)with religious values approach known as Program Remaja Religi Sadar Reproduksi(Religious adolescents aware reproductive issue) or simply called as “Perisai Khatulistiwa (Borneo Shield)”. This program is one of school-based reproductive health promotion that promote reproductive health with Islamic values approach. This study was aimed to know the effectiveness of this program toward adolescents’ knowledge about adolescents’ reproductive health. Quantitative studies with quasi-experimental research design, non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques used is purposive sampling, n = 60, at four schools, n = 30 in the two schools as the intervention group and n = 30 in the two schools as a control group. Quantitative analysis used multiple linear regression. Multivariate analysis found that the program is effective on increasing adolescents’ knowledge of reproductive health p = 0.000 (p <0.05) coefficients B 21.56 (95% CI 19.38 to 23.75). Another factor influencing the knowledge of reproductive health are siblingsp = 0.03 (p <0.05) coefficients B -1.35 (95% CI -2.55-0,12) and extracurricular activities at school p = 0.04 (p <0.05) coefficients B 0.41 (95% CI 0.01 to 0.80). The study recommended model of school-based reproductive health promotion approach to Islam named “Program Remaja Religi Sadar Reproduksi” (Religious adolescents aware reproductive issue)” with abbreviated “PerisaiKhatulistiwa (Borneo Shield)”. This program has affected the knowledge about reproductive health, among adolescents.
Kata Kunci: tantrum;,perilaku, anak usia dini, sekolah, ABSTRACT Tantrum is a common behavior problem in early childhood where children are not able to express and control their anger positively. This study aimed to identify the forms of tantrums and triggers for tantrums in early childhood at school. The method used in this study was quantitative descriptive by using a questionnaire in data collection which was distributed online to 101 of early childhood education and kindergarten teachers' Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal in 14 regencies /cities of West Kalimantan. This study used percentage descriptive analysis. The results showed that the trigger for tantrums in early childhood at school was 33.7% due to the child's desire that was not fulfilled by the form of tantrum behavior shown by 28.7%, namely by crying. The way the teachers calmed tantrum children at school was 18.8% by hugging the children. Although tantrum behavior is a behavior that usually occurs in early childhood at school, teachers must recognize and be able to overcome tantrum behavior that appears in children so that in the future training is needed for teachers in dealing with children with tantrums at school. Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) is one factor which can lead the diabetes mellitus patient to foot ulceration. Early detection is indispensable part to prevent diabetes mellitus patient from foot disorders. vibration perception threshold (VPT) measures can be used to easily and accurately identify presence of DPN. This study was to test the reliability and to evaluate the accuracy of a new vibrometer for detection DPN. A new device (Neovibrometer) was compared with 10g monofilament and tested on a group of DPN and a group of healthy as matched control subjects. Vibration Perception Threshold (VPT) was tested on the plantar surface of the feet. The Neo-vibrometer shows an actual measurement in all test. The Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.94 (P<0.05). The 10g monofilament could also be measured with excellent reliability but only within a limited range of mild to moderate neuropathy, so it appears to be an appropriate screening tool. The measurement-to-measurement intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.93. The new device is accurate and could measure of VPT. It could document loss of sensation in diabetic neuropathy even in the presence of a normal result when it tested by 10g monofilament test. The Neo-vibrometer can be earlier detected of diabetic neuropathy and should be used as the recommended technique in diabetic foot ulcer prevention.
Parents have an important role in supervising and directing their autistic teenagers while carrying out daily routines at home so they can become independent teens. The purpose of this case study is to provide an overview of how teenagers with autism carry out their daily activities and what their daily activities are at home. Data collection methods used in this study were in-depth interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that teenagers with autism are involved by parent in carrying out daily activities at home such as folding clothes, cleaning the kitchen floor, and washing rice and vegetables while at the same time parent accompany, supervise and guide her daughter. Very important for mother to teaches and trains her autistic teenager in daily living activities at home to be independent.
Increasing in the incidence of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) among diabetes mellitus patients (DM), which then access to health services is so far, as well as the lack of knowledge of the local community in preventing and caring for DFU made researchers try to initiate training related to prevention and basic wound care for village health cadres, community leaders, and families family members with DM and at risk for UKD. The activity, which carried out in March 2021, involved the puskesmas in Sui District. Raya, Kab. Kubu Raya. After obtained a permit to carry out activities, the Team briefly contacted the community with the assistance of the Head of RT and RW. Participants who toke part in this activity were those who lived or have a family with diabetes mellitus. Participants were given training related to prevention and treatment of basic wounds, which in the end evaluation followed by publication.
