This study aims to determine the effect of applying the PhET-assisted Ryleac model of science learning tools on students' science process skills. The research method is a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The location of this research is at Junior High School, SMP Negeri Tangagah, in class VIII, Bolaang Uki District, Bolaang Mongondow Selatan Regency, in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The sample in this study were students of class VIII types A and B. The researcher first validated the Ryleac model of science learning tools assisted by PhET by expert validators and obtained the overall results that the learning tools were very valid. The results of this study indicate that applying the Ryleac model of science learning tools assisted by PhET in learning can improve students' science process skills because students' learning activities are excellent during the learning process. Observation of students' science process skills during the learning process showed excellent results. All students' average responses positively responded to PhET-assisted Ryleac learning with an excellent category. The test results for science process skills showed that PhET-assisted Ryleac model learning could improve students' science process skills
Advances in technology as a support in terms of developing student worksheets is with the help of the internet. The research objective was to determine the quality (validity, practicality and effectiveness) of Google Sites-assisted student worksheets on Vibration, Waves and Sound material. The research refers to the 4-D Model development research namely Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. After a limited trial was carried out by 20 class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo, then an extended trial was carried out by 40 class A-B students at Muhammadiyah Batudaa Middle School. The results obtained from the Google Sites-assisted student worksheets show valid, practical and effective categories.
ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine how the influence of the application of the Ryleac learning model based on Mobile Learning on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research method used is an experiment using one experimental class and two replication classes. The place for this research was in SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo class XI with research subjects in class XI IPA 2 with 33 students, XI IPA 4 with 32 students, and XI IPA 6 with 32 students. Data collection on learning outcomes was carried out based on the assessment of test results. Analysis of research data using normality test, analysis, hypothesis testing and n-gain test. Based on the hypothesis testing, it is known that the t-count value in three classes, namely, class XI IPA 2 28.052, Class XI IPA 4 26,671, Class XI IPA 6 15,763 where for the t table price for the three classes, namely Class XI IPA 2 2,035, for class XI IPA 4 and XI IPA 6 is 2.037, then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that learning using the Ryleac learning model based on Mobile Learning has a positive effect on student learning outcomes. Judging from the average pretest and posttest scores of students from the experimental class, replication 1 and replication 2, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Ryleac learning model based on Mobile Learning on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo with moderate n-gain criteria. The study is aimed is to produce a valid learning device based on local culture, effective, and practical to improve students study outcome on energy concept in a living system. The study is conducted at SMP N 4 Telaga Gorontalo District using the development method of the Four-D device. The findings show that the development device is valid, effective, and practical to use. The device validity is presented from expert' validation result, which stated that the device is ready to use with minor revision. The device is claimed practical based on observation result learning implementation for two weeks which is 97,5%, 99,3%, with good criteria, also student questionnaire declared that the device is practical to use with the percentage of 92,14%. The learning device effectiveness is shown with the increasing number of tested study result, which is 0,8 with n-gain high criteria and the result of observation student activity, which is 86,92% with good criteria.
