Neste trabalho, propomos discutir sobre o conceito do termo locução. Para isso, apresentamos um percurso, ao demonstrar como o referido termo está conceituado em um dicionário de língua latina, em um de Linguística e em dicionários de língua geral (de diferentes épocas). Em seguida, por tratar-se também de nossa área de estudos, discutimos o conceito de locução, com base nas contribuições do lexicógrafo Julio Casares Sánchez, uma das grandes referências sobre o tema nos estudos fraseológicos, que serviu de base para os estudos posteriores da área. Esperamos oferecer ao leitor uma visão, ainda que breve, sobre esse recorte dos estudos pertencentes à área do Léxico, especialmente, em sua vertente fraseológica.
Esta pesquisa buscou analisar os aspectos estruturais (macro e micro) e as características de um tipo específico de obra lexicográfica onomasiológica: o dicionário ideológico, e sua diferenciação com o do tipo analógico. Para isso, baseou-se nos pressupostos de Babini (2006) e Quemada (1967) sobre a definição e caracterização desses repertórios. As discussões partem do conceito geral de onomasiologia (BALDINGER, 1966), de projetos lexicográficos (HAENSCH, 1982; MARTÍNEZ SOUZA, 2009) até chegar ao objeto de estudo “dicionário ideológico”. Para a delimitação deste, empregou-se a análise de dois exemplares em específico: o Thesaurus of the english words and phrases, de Peter Mark Roget, publicado no ano de 1852, e o Dicionário Analógico da Língua Portuguesa, ideias afins, thesaurus, de Azevedo (2010). Os resultados mostram que o dicionário brasileiro de Azevedo (2010) possui uma vinculação e similaridade muito forte com o seu antecessor, o Thesaurus, e que, embora aquele se denomine “analógico”, ao ver desta pesquisa, caracteriza-se muito mais como um repertório lexicográfico ideológico.
A noção de “campo”, nos estudos lexicais, parte de uma Semântica de base estruturalista. O início dessa discussão se desenvolveu antes mesmo da redação do Curso de Linguística Geral (CLG), de Ferdinand Saussure. Contudo, foi a partir de Coseriu (1981) que se pode notar um desenvolvimento de uma metodologia apropriada e de base majoritariamente linguística. Este artigo, portanto, busca elencar e discutir acerca desses estudos semânticos voltado à delimitação e à construção de campos lexicais, citando alguns antecessores de Coseriu até chegar aos postulados deste. Por isso, fez-se necessário definir sob este prisma termos como lexema, arquilexema, sema, campo associativo, rede semântica, campo conceitual, classe lexical, oposições e dimensões (embora algumas dessas concepções tenham se originado ou compartilham presença em teorias de outros pesquisadores, torna-se pertinente neste trabalho para a compreensão do recorte escolhido). Espera-se que os conceitos revisitados e os exemplos demonstrados corroborem para o entendimento desses postulados tão caros às pesquisas em Semântica Estruturalista e tão utilizados nela.
A partir da análise dos contos “Confissão” e “Por toda a vida”, do livro Tremor de Terra (1967), de Luiz Vilela, este trabalho se propõe a verificar como a figura do feminino é retratada e categorizada nessas narrativas. Para tanto, valendo-nos da teoria de Nível de Base, proposta por Eleonor Rosch e sua equipe (1976), identificamos, por meio da extração dos atributos semânticos e a investigação de contextos, quais as categorias, com relação ao feminino, estão presentes nos contos selecionados da referida obra. Esperamos, ao final, contribuir à crítica literária com mais um viés de análise, proporcionado pela conjunção entre um ramo da Linguística (a denominada Linguística Cognitiva) e estudos da Literatura.
