Le crowdfunding (financement par la foule), est un concept récent venu des pays anglo-saxons. Il fait appel aux internautes, via des plateformes spécialisées, pour leur proposer de financer des projets. La plateforme jadopteunprojet.com , décrite ici, est emblématique de ce mouvement.
L’accompagnement des porteurs de projets entrepreneuriaux (créateurs ou repreneurs) constitue une nébuleuse complexe regroupant une variété de pratiques. Parmi celles-ci, le tutorat et le mentorat occupent une place particulière et déterminante. Ils permettent en effet de repenser une approche de l’accompagnement sous l’angle du coaching entrepreneurial et, ainsi, de mettre en lumière le rôle des structures d’accompagnement et des services offerts. A partir d’une revue de littérature des principaux registres d’accompagnement, nous verrons que le concept de coaching entrepreneurial constitue un nouvel angle théorique pour rendre compte des pratiques de l’accompagnement entrepreneurial.
Une levée de fonds via une campagne de financement participatif engendre des mécanismes nouveaux vis-à-vis des stratégies de collecte. Dans cette contribution, les notions de capital social et de capital territorial sont plus particulièrement étudiées. L'objet de cette recherche est de déceler les principaux mécanismes pouvant expliquer la volonté d'individus, en dehors du cercle familial et du cercle amical, de financer des projets entrepreneuriaux. Dans cette optique, l'étude du cas de l'épicerie L'Effet Bocal -une épicerie sans emballage située dans la ville française de Poitiers -sert de socle à notre discussion. À l'appui de cette étude de cas, nous montrons que, lorsqu'il s'agit de financement participatif à objet entrepreneurial, la notion de territoire semble perdurer. Et ce, malgré la suppression des barrières techniques et géographiques qu'induit la dynamique plus large du crowdsourcing.

De nombreux travaux académiques relatent les relations entre entrepreneuriat, territoire et dynamique collective. De même, différents modèles conceptuels territoriaux d’innovation se sont attachés à représenter le lien entre proximité géographique, innovation et compétitivité. En France, de nombreuses plateformes de crowdfunding ont pu voir le jour depuis 2010 pour répondre aux difficultés de financement de projets innovants. Ces nouveaux acteurs interpellent les dispositifs existants dans l’aide à la création, au développement et à l’accompagnement d’entreprises innovantes dans les territoires. Ce travail cherche à comprendre les enjeux de coopération induits par cette finance participative dans la constitution de « communautés » numériques. Comment les territoires cherchent-ils à capitaliser ces dynamiques dans une démarche de captation de ces communautés autour d’une volonté de développement économique territorialisé ? A travers une démarche centrée sur les acteurs de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire (ESS) qui, historiquement, se sont organisés localement pour répondre à la diversité des enjeux des territoires, cette recherche vise à répondre à la question suivante : comment organiser la coopération par les acteurs de l’ESS, via la finance participative, au sein d’un écosystème entrepreneurial ? Il s’agit d’une part de s’interroger sur la façon d’envisager la coopération dans les décisions de financement entre les différents acteurs de l’écosystème entrepreneurial sur un territoire, et, d’autre part, d’imaginer comment passer d’une communauté virtuelle à une communauté territorialisée par la révolution numérique dans des territoires géographiquement délimités.
