O gerenciamento de cronograma de projetos necessita de ferramentas que possam auxiliar o gerente de projetos na tarefa de administrá-lo. Assim, ferramentas como Método do Caminho Crítico (CPM), Matriz de Estrutura de Dependência (DSM) e a Simulação de Monte Carlo podem ser utilizadas para modelagem e previsão de risco de atrasos em cronogramas. Na análise de risco se obtém como resultado a probabilidade de cumprimento do prazo alvo do projeto e também qual seria o prazo mais provável de entrega do projeto. Consequentemente, a diferença entre o prazo alvo e o prazo estimado pela simulação com alta probabilidade de entrega do projeto é denominada contingência. Assim, este trabalho se propõe a apresentar através de um estudo de caso de uma obra predial térrea um método de alocação estatística de contingência (SAPA) em cronograma de projetos a fim de auxiliar o gerente a administrar os riscos de atraso no cronograma das atividades e entrega final do projeto. Entre os resultados gerados pelo método de alocação de contingência foi demonstrado que os resultados da Simulação de Monte Carlo podem falhar uma vez que o prazo final de entrega do projeto pode exceder o máximo estimado. Desta forma, além de auxiliar o gerente de projeto na administração da contingência de tempo frente aos riscos do projeto, o método também é capaz de explorar resultados que a Simulação de Monte Carlo não avalia.
Para que as empresas continuem competitivas no mercado, elas precisam realizar suas atividades de forma eficiente. Partindo do princípio de que a modelagem e a simulação são importantes ferramentas para tomada de decisões nas empresas, podendo ser antecipadas inúmeras situações sem a necessidade de intervir na realidade da indústria, ou mesmo trazer prejuízos advindos dessa intervenção. Sendo assim, este artigo visa fazer a previsão de cenários futuros sobre a contribuição dos seis principais produtos de uma empresa alimentícia, analisando a receita total gerada por cada produto, onde poderá se prever o valor de pró-labore a ser pago trimestralmente aos administradores, bem como despesas a serem alocadas. Os dados para simulação foram coletados no período entre agosto de 2013 a junho de 2016, totalizando 35 meses de análise, que foram tratados estatisticamente para dar entrada no software de simulação Crystal Ball, possibilitando a construção dos cenários futuros, permitindo traçar um olhar pessimista e otimista, onde foi possível observar por meio das simulações, situações favoráveis para a empresa, cuja a probabilidade de o cenário mais otimista acontecer seja de 45,9283%. Desta forma o artigo atingiu seu objetivo de trazer uma ferramenta aos gestores, dando melhor capacidade de tomar uma melhor decisão com relação as alocações financeiras a serem administradas.
