Este artigo é parte de um trabalho de monografia de final de curso realizado em 2020, cujo objetivo geral foi desenvolver propostas didáticas que incentivem a leitura literária nas aulas de espanhol como língua estrangeira para a terceira idade. Nosso estudo é de natureza qualitativa, pois propomos uma ação a partir de observações de um contexto, de discussões e análises. Além disso, também é bibliográfico, pois o desenvolvemos com base em materiais de outros pesquisadores. Elaboramos as propostas didáticas para os alunos da terceira idade a partir do estudo e das orientações de autores como Silva (2016), Cosson (2009), Mendoza (1998), Solé (1998), entre outros. Apresentamos aqui duas propostas, uma para 1h/a e outra para 4h/a – produzidas com os momentos de pré-leitura, leitura e pós-leitura – visando o fomento do letramento literário e o incentivo à leitura literária, dentro e fora do contexto escolar.
