Objectives: Anxiety can cause someone to be counterproductive or experience psychological disorders, causing discomfort in social activities, less active participation in behavior. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach and the cognitive restructuring (CR) technique to reduce individual psychosocial anxiety through group counseling, which covers high school adolescents. The CBT approach with the CR technique for dealing with personal psychosocial anxiety provides valuable space for movement. The CBT approach with the CR technique will change the maladaptive beliefs that arise because of anxiety. This intervention aims to increase self-defense and self-control by stimulating rational problem-solving abilities, social skills, and active participation in social activities. Methods: The research method was a nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design with a control or comparison group. On the basis of the paired sample t test, there is a significant difference in the mean. The results showed that the CBT approach with the CR technique effectively reduced psychosocial anxiety in the COVID-19 outbreak. Conclusions: The results showed that the CBT approach with the CR technique effectively reduced psychosocial anxiety in the COVID-19 outbreak.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji tingkat keefektifan teori prodigy melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis manajemen kelas untuk meningkatkan potensi diri siswa dalam pembelajaran, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif berupa eksperimen dengan Non-Equivalent Group Pretest-Postest Control Group desain penelitian. Dengan jumlah subjek penelitian, 48 siswa dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil uji Paired Samples T-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan taraf signifikansi p<0,01, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, sedangkan hasil uji satu arah Uji ANOVA menunjukkan nilai F=5033,639; dengan tingkat signifikansi p<0,01. Sedangkan hasil post hoc test menjelaskan bahwa kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol memiliki perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,647>0,50, menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teori prodigy melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis manajemen kelas efektif dalam meningkatkan potensi diri siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan agar dapat dilaksanakan dan dilanjutkan dalam lingkup yang lebih luas. Abstract This study aims to test the level of effectiveness of prodigy theory through a classroom management-based learning approach to increase students' self-potential in learning, using descriptive quantitative research methods in the form of experiments with Non-Equivalent Group Pretest-Postest Control Group research designs. With the number of research subjects, 48 students were divided into experimental and control groups. The results of the Paired Samples T-test showed that the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental group and the control group with a significance level of p<0.01, then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, while the results of the one-way ANOVA test showed a value of F=5033,639; with a significance level of p<0.01. While the results of the post hoc test explained that the experimental group and the control group had a significant average difference with a significance level of 0.647>0.50, indicating a significant increase in the average between the experimental group and the control group. So it can be concluded that the application of prodigy theory through a classroom management-based learning approach is effective in increasing students' self-potential in learning. The results of this study are expected to be a reference so that it can be carried out and continued in a wider scope.
Rendahnya tingkat pemahaman karier siswa dipengaruhi oleh minimnya informasi karier mengenai pekerjaan dan pendidikan untuk mendukung sebuah pekerjaan dimasa akan datang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan layanan informasi karier dengan teknik live modeling dan symbolic modeling untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siwa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, dengan desain Non Equivalent Group Pretest-Postest Control Group, subyek penelitian sebanyak 96 orang siswa kelas IX SMP Teuku Umar yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yakni kelompok A, B dan Kontrol. Hasil analisis data One way ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa teknik live modeling dan symbolic modeling (p<0.01; F=108.015). Sedangkan pengujian post hoc test menunjukkan (MD=-1.81; p=0.97>0.05) yang berarti teknik live modeling dan symbolic modeling tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata signifikan, untuk teknik live modeling dan kelompok kontrol dengan(MD= -59.28; p<0.01), dan untuk teknik symbolic modeling dan kelompok kontrol dengan (MD=-6109; p<0.01), yang berarti teknik live modeling dan symbolic modeling rata-rata efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa siswa SMP Teuku Umar Semarang.__________________________________________________________ The students’ low understanding in career is influenced by alack of information about career and education in which those aspects are needed to realize a certain job in the future. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of career information services with live and symbolic modeling techniques to improve students' career understanding. The research method used is experimental with operating Non Equivalent Group Pretest-Postest Control Group design, 96 students of 9th grade of SMP Teuku Umar shared in 3 classes were employed as subject, namely is A, B and Control group. The one-way data analysis shows the technique of live and symbolic modeling whereas (p <0.01; F=108.015). While the post hoc test shows (MD=-1.81;p=0.97>0.05), it means there is no significant difference both live and symbolic modeling techniques. In addition, it is also known that live modeling and control group whereas (MD=-59.28; p<0.01 ), symbolic modeling and control group whereas (MD=-6109; p<0.01). Therefore, it could be concluded that live and symbolic modeling technique is effective to improve students’ career understanding at SMP Teuku Umar Semarang.
