RESUMO:A qualidade de vida (QV) não significa apenas a ausência de doença, mas envolve o bem-estar físico, psicológico, social e ambiental. Partindo do conceito de QV, o estudo busca investigar a QV e seus domínios em pacientes adolescentes em tratamento oncológico. Trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo descritivo, exploratório e transversal, com uma abordagem quantitativa, realizada de agosto a dezembro de 2019, submetida e aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa do Centro Universitário UNIFACID sob parecer 2.271.284. Participaram 22 adolescentes com diagnóstico de câncer, com predomínio de faixa etária entre 10 e 15 anos (59,1%), pardos (68,2%) e sem predomínio quanto ao gênero. 63,6% eram naturais do interior do estado, todos alfabetizados. 77,3% (n=17) avaliam sua vida regular para os domínios físico (63,6%, n=14), psicológico (59,1%, n=13), relações sociais (50%, n=11) e meio ambiente (72,7%, n=16). Objetivo: Identificar quais orientações sobre aleitamento materno as mulheres com filhos de 6 meses a 2 anos de idade, receberam em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde. Pesquisa de natureza descritiva exploratória, estudo de campo com abordagem qualitativa. Foram entrevistadas 15 mulheres em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde. Resultados: As mulheres receberam orientações sobre aleitamento materno de forma eficaz. Entre as dificuldades estão a pega do peito, problemas como fissuras, dores, ingurgitamento. Com relação às facilidades, o público materno recebeu orientações e a vivência de maternidades anteriores. Com relação às experiências vivenciadas pelas mesmas prevaleceram respostas tanto “boas” como “ruins”, pois mesmo estas mães tendo passado por situações dificultosas, souberam tirar dessas situações os seus pontos positivos. Conclusão: Quanto às dificuldades vivenciadas por estas mulheres, obteve-se respostas da maioria sobre dificuldades com a pega do peito, problemas como fissuras no peito, dores, ingurgitamento, além do fato de noites com repouso insatisfatório durante as primeiras semanas do pós-parto. Com relação às facilidades encontradas, observou-se o fato do público materno ter recebido orientações a respeito da pega correta e a vivência de maternidades anteriores.
