Objetivos: Avaliar a qualidade de vida de pacientes portadores de Doença Renal Crônica (DRC) em Terapia Renal Substitutiva (TRS), modalidade de hemodiálise, identificando os componentes e seus respectivos domínios comprometidos. Métodos: Estudo transversal, prospectivo, descritivo com abordagem quantitativa com portadores de DRC em TRS há no mínimo três meses, em uma instituição de saúde, interior do Estado de São Paulo. A coleta de dados foi realizada com 109 pacientes e utilizou-se os questionários sociodemográfico e de saúde; e o instrumento Avaliação da Qualidade de Vida (SF-36). Os dados foram analisados utilizando-se média, mediana e desvio padrão. Resultados: Dos sujeitos adultos participantes, 60% apresentaram um comprometimento na qualidade de vida relacionada as limitações físicas. Na estratificação os pacientes com condições clínicas comprometidas em início de tratamento sem acesso vascular definitivo, foi verificado comprometimento em variáveis físico e mental. Conclusão: Concluímos que a DRC causa impacto nos diferentes domínios dos compenentes físico e mental nos pacientes em tratamento hemodialítico. Tais comprometimentos podem implicar em significativo impacto, desempenho e percepção destes indivíduos sobre suas QV frente à doença e seu tratamento, um acompanhamento e monitoramento da equipe multidisciplinar.
Objetivo: Identificar e averiguar como as práticas integrativas e complementares em saúde, comuns e acessíveis, podem propiciar benefícios ao binômio mãe-filho no período puerperal. Revisão Bibliográfica: A atenção qualificada em saúde aplicada no pré-natal e no puerpério, são fundamentais para a saúde materna e neonatal, por haver diversas mudanças na rotina deste binômio, as PICS são opções reais para proporcionar uma assistência individualizada à puérpera ao promover ou recuperar saúde por meio da medicina alternativa. Dentre as várias terapias, a utilização de plantas medicinais e aromaterapia; a prática chinesa Lian Gong, a meditação, e a técnica de Shantala puderam ser elencadas e suas diversas formas de aplicação possibilitam uma transformação saudável e gradativa diante das diversas alterações sofridas pela mulher entre os períodos de gestação e puerpério. Considerações Finais: Os benefícios proporcionados pelas PICS à puérpera, contemplam o binômio mãe/filho e podem ser vistos por benefícios como alívio de dores, desconfortos, cansaço e disfunções orgânicas, alívio de ansiedade e tristeza, frequentes nesse período.
Resumo Objetivo conhecer os significados atribuídos ao pré-natal por adolescentes que pariram prematuramente e seus alcances ao parto e nascimento. Método estudo qualitativo que adotou o Interacionismo Simbólico e a Análise de Conteúdo Temática como referenciais teóricos e metodológicos e a entrevista aberta como instrumento de coleta de dados. Onze adolescentes residentes em um município do interior paulista integraram o estudo ao longo do ano de 2018. Resultados as adolescentes apontaram relações limitadas com os profissionais com obstáculos ao desenvolvimento da autonomia para as questões da gestação, parto e nascimento, assim como para o estabelecimento do apoio social. Emergiram três categorias temáticas: ‘Início do pré-natal: reflexões e projeções futuras’; ‘Insuficiências na atenção pré-natal’ e ‘(Des) acolhimento no parto e nascimento’. Conclusão conhecer os significados atribuídos ao pré-natal por adolescentes que pariram prematuramente favoreceu apontamentos ao atitudinal do profissional em relação à consideração da adolescente enquanto indivíduo que direciona o cuidado por meio de seu lugar de fala e no exercício dos seus direitos no sentido de promover uma experiência positiva e qualificar o pré-natal.
