Results: maternal data were evidenced: age from 20 to 24 years, schooling from 8 to 11 years of study, married, with a full-term gestation. As for live births, there were observed: birth weight from 3,000 to 39,99g (63,6%), male (51,2%) and APGAR in the 1st (8 to 10) and 5th (8 to 10) minutes respectively 82, 7% and 95.4%. Conclusion: most newborns born from term gestation, adequate weight for gestational age, Apgar in optimal conditions, results show that access to services needs to be expanded. RESUMOObjetivo: descrever as características sociodemográfica e obstétricas maternas e perfil clinico de nascidos vivos residentes em Teresina no período de 2000 a 2013. Método: estudo retrospectivo, de abordagem quantitativa, utilizando banco de dados secundários. A população constituiu-se de 200968 nascidos vivos de 200 a 2013. Os dados foram acessados por meio do Sistema de Informação de Nascidos Vivos utilizando-se as variáveis sociodemográfica e obstétricas maternas e perfil clinico dos recém-nascido. Resultados: quantos aos dados maternos evidenciou-se: idade de 20 a 24 anos, escolaridade de 8 a 11 anos de estudo, casadas, gestação a termo. Quanto aos nascidos vivos observou-se: peso ao nascer de 3000 a 3999g (63,6%), masculino (51,2%) e APGAR no 1º (8 a 10) e 5º (8 a 10) minuto de vida respectivamente 82,7% e 95,4%. Conclusão: maioria de recém-nascidos vivos oriundos de gestação a termo, peso adequado para idade gestacional, Apgar em ótimas condições, os resultados mostram que o acesso aos serviços precisa ser ampliado. Introdução: O pé diabético configura uma das principais complicações do diabetes mellitus (DM). Esse termo é utilizado para caracterizar a presença de lesões na região dos pés ocasionadas pela neuropatia periférica, doença vascular periférica e deformidades. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo e observacional, do tipo estudo de caso. Realizado em um Hospital de Timon-MA, desenvolvido na disciplina de Estágio Curricular Supervisionado II, por acadêmicos de enfermagem, no período entre agosto e dezembro de 2018. Relato da Experiência: A prática de estágio em enfermagem requer um olhar sensível dos discentes e profissionais que os acompanham. Realizar o máximo de cuidados possíveis, contribui para que o aluno saia do estágio com experiências da realidade do cotidiano da profissão. Com esse pensamento, os autores aproveitaram a prática assistida para atender a um paciente do sexo masculino, com 63 anos, com diagnóstico de Diabetes Mellitus(DM) há 3 anos. O mesmo havia sido admitido proveniente de outro hospital da região para tratamento do pé diabético, lesão em Membro Inferior Direito(MID) com curativo oclusivo limpo e seco. Considerações finais: A atuação de Enfermagem descritas neste relato de experiência, não se restringem apenas ao paciente citado, mas, à todos os pacientes com pé diabético que necessitam de atendimento para tratamento da doença e suas complicações, e precisam de um acompanhamento individualizado e de qualidade.
