Anak dengan hambatan pendengaran mengalami hambatan dalam keterampilan berbahasa lisan sebagai dampak langsung dari kehilangan ketajaman pendengarannya. Keterampilan berbahasa lisan ini penting dimiliki anak tersebut agar mereka dapat berkomunikasi dengan lingkungan orang mendengar pada umumnya. Oleh karena itu keterampilan berbahsa lisan ini penting untuk ditingkatkan melalui program yang teruji efektivitasnya. Kegiatan penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program terpadu dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa lisan anak dengann hambatan pendengaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan posttest design. Jumlah sampel adalah 3 orang, yaitu siswa kelas 3 SLB Negeri Cicendo Bandung, sedangkan teknik pengolahan datanya menggunakan Metode Uji Tanda Median. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa program terpadu dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa lisan pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran kelas 3 SLB Negeri Cicendo Bandung, Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, guru direkomendasikan untuk mengimplementasikan program terpadu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa lisan pada anak dengan hambatan pendengaran, dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan asesmen dan analisis hasil asesmen serta melakukan adaptasi program.
Anak tunarungu memliki hambatan dalam menyusun struktur kalimat, sehingga berpengaruh pada kemampuan berbahasa ekspresif visualnya atau tulisannya, hal ini menyebabkan orang yang menjadi lawan bicaranya salah dalam mengartikan pesan. Kemampuan dalam menyusun struktur kalimat bagi anak tunarungu harus ditingkatkan dengan melihat kebutuhan dari anak tunarungu yang mengoptimalkan indera visualnya, melibatkannya secara interaktif dalam pembelajaran, dan menerapkan suatu metode yang bisa menghubungkan struktural bahasa dengan konteks kejadian. Peneliti menggunakan metode belajar bahasa MMR untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan menyusun struktur kalimat pada anak tunarungu kelas V SDLB. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini memiliki sampel sebanyak lima orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah tes tertulis. Hasil pengolahan data dan analisis data menunjukkan metode maternal reflektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun struktur kalimat anak tunarungu kelas V SDLB di SLB Bina Nusantara, hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan perolehan skor post-test dari skor pre-test . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka peneliti merekomendasikan pada guru tunarungu untuk menjadikan Metode Maternal Reflektif (MMR) sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun struktur kalimat anak tunarungu.
To gain higher education is the right of all people without exception, including children with hearing impairment. Interest factor becomes very important to fulfill their hope to continue education of higher education. Therefore, this research aimed to know (1) students’ with hearing impairment interest to continue education of higher education, (2) Factors that influence students ’ with hearing impairment interest to continue education of higher education. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collecting technique did by interview and documentary study. This research result showed that from four subjects researched there are two subjects of SMALB SLB BC YP Al-Azhar Leuwimunding that interest to continue education of higher education, this case can be seen from the happiness and interested to study subjects such as cosmetology and the art of dance that based on the subject’s dreams.
