Os tumores odontogênicos elencam um grupo heterogêneo e complexo de patologias com diferentes manifestações clínicas e histológicas, em sua grande maioria são neoplasias benignas resultantes da proliferação de células dos tecidos da odontogênese. Objetivo: realizar uma análise de prevalência dos principais tumores benignos do complexo maxilofacial tendo como base a nomenclatura atual da OMS por meio de uma revisão de integrativa da literatura. Metodologia: este trabalho configura-se como uma revisão integrativa da literatura, o acervo bibliográfico é formado por uma amostra de conveniência de artigos indexados nas bases do PUBMED (Public Medline) e SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) publicados a partir de 2015, nos idiomas inglês e português. Resultados: de acordo com a análise dos 15 artigos evidenciou-se que o gênero masculino é o mais acometido por tumores odontogênicos em uma proporção de até 3:1 em ralação ao gênero feminino, tendo a mandíbula como o sítio anatômico mais afetado por estas lesões, com relação a idade observou-se que a terceira e quarta década de vida são as faixas etárias mais comuns no momento do diagnóstico dos tumores, sendo o tumor de maior prevalência de acordo com os estudos, o Ameloblastoma. Conclusão: de acordo com a pesquisa podemos concluir que os tumores odontogênicos se apresentam como um grupo heterogêneo de lesões, sendo o Ameloblastoma o tumor odontogênico benigno de maior prevalência na literatura.
