Este artigo relata a experiência de um trabalho desenvolvido, em um projeto de extensão, com objetivo de orientar adolescentes sobre a vacina contra o Papilomavírus Humano (HPV), no período de agosto de 2017 a julho de 2018. Foi formado um grupo de acadêmicos de vários semestres do curso de Farmácia da Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões - Campus Santo Ângelo, que elaboraram uma peça de teatro contando a história de um casal que vai ao consultório de uma terapeuta relatar a descoberta que um deles estava com o vírus do HPV. Como personagens da peça, ainda se encontram o vírus do HPV e uma farmacêutica. No desenrolar desta história, são colocadas as informações sobre o vírus, dando ênfase a vacina contra o HPV. A experiência com o desenvolvimento do projeto nos permitiu constatar que podemos levar informações e promover educação em saúde de forma lúdica e simples, e que o conhecimento construído nos leva a prosseguirmos neste caminho, em prol da saúde dos adolescentes.
A infecção por Papilomavírus humano (HPV) é o principal fator de risco para o desenvolvimento do câncer do colo do útero. A prevenção dessa infecção pode ser feita com o uso de preservativos, durante as relações sexuais, por meio da vacina contra o HPV e pelo exame preventivo Papanicolaou. O artigo tem por objetivo relatar uma atividade de extensão, desenvolvida durante a pandemia da Covid-19, para promover a conscientização da importância da vacina contra o Papilomavírus humano (HPV) para jovens e adolescentes. Foi elaborado um vídeo no site “PowToon” para criar uma animação explicativa de forma simples e didática, utilizando figuras e palavras chaves juntamente com narração, explicando o que é o vírus do HPV, formas de contagio e meios de prevenção. Um formulário com questões básicas que poderiam ser respondidas com informações mencionadas no vídeo, foi encaminhado junto com o vídeo. Esse vídeo foi enviado pra escolas do municio de Santo Ângelo, Porto Lucena, Nova Candelária e Roque Gonzales, na região das Missões, RS, para alunos do 6º ao 9º ano. O projeto alcançou 4 instituições de ensino que estavam com aulas online. Concluímos que é importante difundir informações sobre a vacina contra o HPV aos adolescentes e jovens, para que tenham compreensão da prevenção precoce e o quanto ela é necessária, pois por meio dela podemos prevenir a infecção pelo HPV, evitando a evolução de lesões pré-cancerosas e cancerosas, como o câncer de colo do útero. No entanto, a pandemia da Covid-19 dificultou essa atividade, limitando muito a divulgação destas informações aos adolescentes.
O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar os serviços oferecidos em uma Estratégia de Saúde da Família (ESF) do município de Santo Ângelo (RS). Para isto foi realizada uma pesquisa observacional entre outubro de 2019 e março de 2020, pelos integrantes do Programa Educação pelo Trabalho para a Saúde (PET-Saúde-Interprofissionalidade), com 156 participantes. Foram avaliados atributos utilizando o instrumento de Avaliação da Atenção Primária adaptado à realidade local (PCA-Tool adaptado). Dentre os entrevistados os atributos que apresentaram relevância positiva foram grau de afiliação, com 87,6% dos participantes que procuravam ESF do seu bairro; longitudinalidade, com escore de 8,9; coordenação-sistema de informações, com escore 9,3; integração de cuidados com escore 8,8 e serviços disponíveis na unidade com 8,2; foram os itens mais bem avaliados. Os resultados baixos foram: acessibilidade com escore de 6,9, serviços prestados e orientação comunitária, ambos com escores médios 5,7. O escore geral de avaliação de todos atributos se apresentou em 7,7. Com isto se evidenciou que a ESF apresenta bom desempenho em vários atributos analisados. Porém, com relação à orientação comunitária, integralidade e serviços prestados, apresenta algumas falhas, evidenciando a necessidade de uma mudança de estratégias, focando mais em orientações voltadas à família e comunidade.
