No decorrer dos séculos foi construído um modelo social em que a mulher não era considerada sujeito ativo e pleno de sua própria história e isso envolve, inclusive, questões de saúde, que refletem ainda na atualidade. Desse modo, ressalta-se a importância de conhecer o perfil de cada paciente, além de considerar aspectos socioculturais, medos, dúvidas e anseios que cada gestante possa apresentar durante seu processo de gestar e ser mãe. Cada indivíduo possui suas particularidades e expectativas em relação ao ciclo gravídico-puerperal, assim, cada gestação e parto também deve ser único. Devido o dilema e implicações quanto à escolha da via de parto, bem como o percentual elevado de cesarianas no Brasil, essa pesquisa teve como objetivo a análise do perfil epidemiológico da puérpera, bem como suas crenças e as indicações médicas durante a gestação e o parto, por meio da aplicação de questionário, em contribuição para o seu público alvo o incentivo da participação dessas mulheres em programas educativos e de pré-natal em gestações futuras. Portanto, concluiu-se com os resultados obtidos que a incidência de cesarianas aparenta estar mais relacionada ao direito de escolha e às condições socioeconômicas, mesmo quando não há o conhecimento necessário e/ou indicação válida.
O exame citopatológico do colo do útero é realizado em mulheres para detecção de alterações celulares no mesmo, que podem indicar lesões precursoras do câncer de colo do útero e até mesmo o próprio câncer. O principal agente causador do câncer de colo uterino (CCV) é o papilomavírus humano (HPV) de alto risco. O CCV é o segundo mais comum em mulheres no mundo, sendo mais prevalente em países em desenvolvimento. Este trabalho tem como objetivo fazer um levantamento quantitativo através da análise do registro das alterações encontradas na população feminina residente do bairro Alto Alegre que frequenta a Unidade Básica de Saúde Palmeiras. Materiais e métodos: foi analisado o livro de registros da Unidade Básica de Saúde Palmeiras na cidade de Cascavel/PR, no qual são anotados os resultados dos exames citopatológicos. Resultados: Em 2019, 6,49% das amostras obtidas apresentaram alterações importantes. Já em 2020, 2,35% dos exames coletados apresentaram alterações significativas. A lesão que mais apareceu em ambos os anos foi a lesão de baixo grau. Conclusão: Com esse trabalho, espera-se que os resultados obtidos sirvam de alerta para os profissionais de saúde para que eles possam orientar a população referida sobre a importância da realização do exame citopatológico, os prejuízos que a doença pode causar e as formas de prevenção.
No Brasil, a doença que mais leva crianças e adolescentes a óbito é o câncer. Nessa faixa etária é importante destacar as neoplasias de olhos e anexos. A pandemia provocada pelo Coronavírus SARS-CoV-2, em 2020, alterou a logística operacional estruturada pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Neste cenário, a Lei 12.732/2012, que assegura o direito do início do tratamento oncológico em até 60 dias após o diagnóstico, pode ter sido negligenciada. O presente artigo teve por escopo determinar o impacto da Pandemia na aplicabilidade da Lei 12.732/2012 no que concerne às neoplasias de olhos e anexos em crianças e adolescentes. Trata-se de um estudo observacional transversal retrospectivo, fundamentado através de dados de caráter público, disponibilizados na plataforma TABNETBD 1.0 – Painel de Oncologia, oriundos do Ministério da Saúde. A seleção das informações, se deu através das variáveis: faixa etária (0-19 anos), diagnóstico detalhado (neoplasias malignas de olhos e anexos), mês/ano do diagnóstico (janeiro 2019- dezembro 2021) e tempo para início do tratamento. Durante o período analisado, foram notificados 493 casos, sendo 186 em 2019, 145 em 2020 e 162 em 2021. Da amostra total, 137 não possuíam informação de tratamento, 329 estiveram dentro do intervalo de 60 dias entre detecção e início do tratamento e 27 ultrapassaram o limite estipulado pela lei 12.732/2012.
