Atualmente, no cenário mundial e no Brasil, registra-se um aumento do número de diagnósticos de câncer de mama, o que causa grande impacto na saúde pública e na qualidade de vida dessas pacientes. Dessa maneira, faz-se necessário a presença do enfermeiro nas ações multidisciplinares desde a prevenção até o tratamento, demonstrando suas funções na gestão a assistência, na educação e no apoio psicossocial a essas pacientes. Objetiva-se relatar a atuação do enfermeiro frente a mulheres com diagnóstico de câncer de mama. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com oito artigos selecionados nas bases de dados LILACS e SciELO entre o período de 2010 e 2020. Após a leitura, análise e interpretação dos dados, as publicações evidenciam diferentes desafios enfrentados pelo enfermeiro no cuidado a paciente com diagnóstico de câncer de mama, sendo sua atuação indispensável na orientação sobre a doença. Conhecer as barreiras relacionadas ao tratamento adequado do adoecimento físico e psicossocial entre outras demandas do contexto social pode ser uma importante ferramenta na busca de meios para oferecer uma assistência de mais qualidade a esta população.
A lesão por pressão se caracteriza por um dano na pele resultante de uma pressão intense ou prolongada. O Brasil apresenta altas taxas de incidência de lesão por pressão em pacientes internados, o que torna a terapia a laser uma alternativa de tratamento adjuvante para a reparação tecidual. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a efetividade da terapia a laser de baixa potência no tratamento de lesões por pressão em pacientes adultos. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com oito artigos selecionados nas bases de dados Lilacs, Pubmed e Medline entre o período de 2010 e 2020. Após a leitura, análise e interpretação dos dados, pode-se verificar que, apesar de haver poucos estudos recentes sobre a terapia a laser na temática da lesão por pressão, os artigos elucidam o uso do laser como uma modalidade promissora de tratamento, que proporciona redução do tempo de cicatrização e melhora no aspecto das feridas. Contudo, os estudos apresentam distintos parâmetros de aplicação, comprimentos de onda, densidade de energia e frequência de tratamento, o que impossibilita um consenso entre os autores sobre a técnica de aplicação do laser. Há a necessidade de novas pesquisas para criar e elucidar padronizações ou protocolos, a fim de otimizar a qualidade de atendimento aos pacientes portadores de lesão por pressão e promover a divulgação da terapia a laser como um tratamento seguro e efetivo.

Considerando a proximidade e o tempo em que a equipe de enfermagem permanece com os pacientes, é necessário promover educação permanente direcionada a estes profissionais para que, de fato, ocorra a avaliação sistematizada da dor. Com isso, a pesquisa reflete sobre a necessidade de ser ministradas capacitações aos profissionais de enfermagem para um manejo adequado da dor nos pacientes hospitalizados.
