Abstract:An efficient planning of mobile radio systems requires powerful tools for modeling the electromagnetic radio wave propagation. A propagation model for picocellular environments based on the uniform theory of diffraction UTD is proposed. The new ray tracing algorithm permits a fast and geometrical exact determination of the propagation paths. The comparison between calculated and measured path loss and channel impulse response show good agreements.Für die Dokumentation: Ray Tracing / Beugungstheorie / Wellenausbreitung / pikozellulare Funknetze / Feldstärkeprädiktion
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
