Zusammenfassung Seit dem Jahr 2001 k?nnen durch eine bundesweite Regelung Drogenkonsumr?ume (DKR) betrieben werden ? jedoch ist nicht in allen Bundesl?ndern diese M?glichkeit umgesetzt worden. Der vorliegende Artikel stellt die Ergebnisse zweier aufeinander aufbauenden Befragungen von Besuchern niedrigschwelliger Drogenhilfeeinrichtungen in Bayern dar. Gegenstand der ersten Befragung (n=394) war die Einstellung zu Drogenkonsumr?umen, die deskriptive Datenerhebung zu den Konsumgewohnheiten sowie die Selbsteinsch?tzung f?r eine m?gliche Nutzung eines DKR. Die zweite Befragung (n=512) diente zur Beschreibung gesundheitlicher, sozialer und suchtspezifischer Bedarfe. In der Datenauswertung wurde insbesondere das Lebensalter als Merkmal ber?cksichtigt. Die Ergebnisse der Befragungen zeigen, dass bayerische Drogenkonsumenten Drogenkonsumr?ume zu einem gewissen Anteil bereits nutzen: Sie nehmen bei Gelegenheit au?erhalb von Bayern liegende Angebote in Anspruch. Zudem ist die Mehrheit bereit, Drogenkonsumr?ume zu nutzen. Sie w?nscht sich weitere Angebote der ?berlebenshilfe wie auch ausstiegsorientierte Hilfen als Zusatzangebote von Drogenkonsumr?umen. Desweiteren zeichnen die Ergebnisse der Befragung das Bild einer mehrfach belasteten Bev?lkerungsgruppe. Neben der Suchterkrankung liegen schwerwiegende Problemlagen in den Lebensbereichen Wohnen, Arbeit und Gesundheit vor. Vor allem die Gruppe der ?lteren Langzeitabh?ngigen weisen hier besonderen Bedarf auf.
