Among five processing conditions, a three stage vacuum sintering process produced the MnZn ferrite sample with the highest μi. Sintering in air produced samples with larger grain size and high μi values. The process of furnace-cooled overnight oxidized the Fe2+ content and allowed the precipitation of Fe2O3, which, in turn, resulted in sample of small grain size. All five processes produced spinel MnZn ferrite samples with the same unit cell size and the same oxygen parameter.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
