Objectives: to describe nursing team care and discuss the nursing team's conception of companion families of hospitalized children. The study was based on the theoretical framework of Collière's theory of nursing care identity. Method: this was a qualitative study with 14 members of a nursing team, conducted through an unstructured group interview. Thematic data analysis was employed. Results: habitual and repair care was delegated to families, regardless of the child's clinical condition. Final considerations: the team's offi cial discourse about the families of hospitalized children, as recommended by the literature, refers to the family's alterity and participation in care provision, with sights on discharge and defending family participation as benefi cial to children. In practice, however, the nursing staff makes concessions about the presence of chaperoning families and delegates care. RESUMO Objetivos: descrever os cuidados da equipe de enfermagem e discutir as concepções da equipe de enfermagem frente à família acompanhante da criança hospitalizada. Método: Estudo qualitativo com quatorze membros da equipe de enfermagem, utilizando a técnica de entrevista não diretiva em grupo. Foi realizada análise temática dos dados. Resultados: os cuidados habituais e de reparação prestados à criança estão sendo delegados à família, independentemente da situação clínica da criança. Considerações fi nais: o discurso ofi cial da equipe de enfermagem frente à família acompanhante da criança hospitalizada, preconizado pela literatura, refere-se à alteridade e à participação da família nos cuidados à criança, prevendo sua alta e justifi cando a participação como benéfi ca para a criança. Em contrapartida, na prática, a enfermagem faz concessões sobre a permanência da família e delega os cuidados. Objetivo: Investigar, na literatura nacional e internacional, o uso da terapia do riso junto às crianças hospitalizadas. Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura. As bases de dados pesquisadas foram MEDLINE®, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, PsycINFO®, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Banco de Dados em Enfermagem – Bibliografia Brasileira e Índice Bibliográfico Español em Ciencias de la Salud. Os termos utilizados identificados nos Descritores em Ciência da Saúde e nos Medical Subject Headings foram “terapia do riso”, “criança”, “pré-escolar” e “criança hospitalizada”, além das palavras-chave “risoterapia”, “riso-terapia” e “riso terapia” em diferentes combinações. O recorte temporal foi de 10 anos, a partir de 2008. Resultados: A amostra final para a análise foi constituída de 17 artigos, que foram organizados em três categorias: Risoterapia como estratégia para a diminuição da dor, do desconforto e do sofrimento; A diminuição do medo, do estresse e da ansiedade com a risoterapia e O Impacto psicossocial da risoterapia na criança hospitalizada. Conclusão: Foi possível perceber benefícios da terapia que incluem diminuição da dor, do estresse e da ansiedade e mudanças emocionais e sociais. Salienta-se a importância da temática, por meio da qual é possível oferecer ao paciente pediátrico um cuidado integral e humanizado.
O estudo tem por objetivo descrever a dramatização como uma abordagem metodológica, explicitando sua concepção teórica e a coleta de dados dessa estratégia nas pesquisas qualitativas com escolares hospitalizadas. A dramatização vincula-se ao brincar, uma forma de linguagem na infância, e mostrou-se como uma estratégia de coleta de dados promissora a ser usada por pesquisadores que desejem conhecer as percepções e entendimento das crianças sobre os diversos contextos de vida e papéis sociais, constituindo-se em opção de abordagem das crianças em pesquisas qualitativas.
Carnival is considered the most popular celebration in Brazil and millions of people take to the streets, looking for fun. Howevwer, studies have shown increased consumption of alcohol and illegal drugs during this period. Ten years ago, Jorge Jaber, psychiatrist, addiction specialist, created the Carnival group "Joy without Hangover" preventive alcohol abuse and drug use, carrying the message that happiness is possible without the use of any drug. The band parades anually on Copacabana beach, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, with the support of the Mayor, and in 2013 brought together several communityy segments, besides hundreds of supporters of the cause. The band "Joy without Hangover" is inserted in the conceptual formulation of health promotion, as seen action on the individual, seeking behavioral change and lifestyle, according to the precepts of Verdi and Caponi (2005). Thus aim to contribute to change the view that associates the carnival with the consumption of alcoholic beverages and drugs, showing the dangers of using these substances.
Introduction:The Brazilian's Ministries of Defence and Justice took the initiative to create the project Agate 5, through which performance of the Brazilian Air Force - FAB, aims to curb the entry and movement of drugs in Brazil for the control and surveillance of the airspace boundaries. The Agate 5, aiming to look beyond the work of repression of drug trafficking, also preventing drug use, invited three professionals in addiction linked to ABRAD, Brazilian Association of Alcoholism and Drug Administration to work in this operation, in cities southern Brazil. This study reports the experience of these professionals in addiction Project Agate 5.Objective:Promote guidelines on prevention and treatment of chemical dependency, family treatment and health education for youth and children.Methodology:Lectures and dynamic guidance on issues related to addiction and health promotion.Development:The orientation on the prevention of drug use was presented by the ABRAD's group along with the official Brazilian Air Force - FAB, for educators and managers of the cities visited. Issues were addressed health promotion with children at a school visited by the group, in Porto Alegre, as well as guidance to adolescents participating in a social project in Foz do Iguaçu.Conclusions:The proposed objectives were achieved, and there is the possibility of teaching a course on chemical dependency counselors provided by ABRAD cities visited for training professionals to be area.
