This paper tells about a smart grid system. The system uses electrical energy sources through the National Electricity Company, PV Solar Systems and Batteries as a backup. For the load, the rector building, lecture building, hostel and mosque are used. The method of calculating efficiency values uses conventional methods. In the analysis of the efficiency of the use of electrical energy found the highest efficiency value when there is excess energy from the National Electricity Company and as an additional load used batteries to store the excess energy. Demonstrate that the efficiency of electrical energy in smart grid is not only influenced by dynamic loads but also by the addition of other sources of electrical energy. The fluctuations in the use of electric power it will cause variations in efficiency in the system. The highest average value of efficiency is obtained in the third condition of 98.582% where the system experiences excess energy on Saturdays and Sundays and the excess energy is stored on the battery. The addition of the network may be done to anticipate the excess and lack of electrical energy from one network.
Salah satu parameter yang digunakan pelaku bisnis untuk mengukur kinerjanya adalah melalui kualitas layanan. Dalam tulisan ini, dijelaskan konsep pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT. PLN (Persero) yang menyediakan energi listrik kepada konsumen. Selain itu juga melihat faktor kualitas pelayanan yang turut berperan dalam menjelaskan kepuasan pelanggan pada perusahaan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kualitas pelayanan yang telah diberikan kepada pelanggan sangat mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan. Juga menunjukkan perlunya sosialisasi kepada karyawan perusahaan bahwa pelanggan perlu mendapat perhatian penuh sebagai klien atau pelanggan yang membeli produk dan jasa perusahaan.
<em>Base Transceiver Station (BTS) merupakan salah satu bagian penting dalam jaringan telekomunikasi. Salah satu bagian dari BTS adalah shelter BTS sebagai tempat perangkat komunikasi disimpan sehingga pemantauan kondisi dan keamanan shelter BTS mutlak dilakukan agar jalur komunikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Saat ini, pemantauan kondisi keamanan shelter BTS dilakukan secara manual sehingga diperlukan banyak tenaga dan waktu yang diperlukan untuk memantau sejumlah shelter dimana kondisi sekarang ini perangkat telekomunikasi salah satu objek kriminal bagi sekelompok orang. Hal inilah yang mendorong penelitian untuk merancang bangun sistem keamanan elektronik di shelter BTS melalui SMS agar kondisi shelter BTS secara realtime dapat dimonitor dengan cepat. Perangkat pemantau kondisi keamanan shelter BTS yang dirancang terdiri dari sebuah Mikrokontroler ATMega16 sebagai Pengendali Utama, SIM800L untuk komunikasi, dan LCD sebagai layar tampilan informasi pada shelter BTS. Pengendali utama akan mengirimkan informasi yang terbaca pada shelter BTS ke HP pengguna melalui media SMS menggunakan Modul SIM800. Hasil pengujian secara keseluruhan sistem pada salah satu model shelter BTS yang telah dirancang menunjukkan pemantauan kondisi keamanan shelter BTS secara realtime telah berhasil. Pengendali utama telah dapat mengirimkan informasi kondisi shelter BTS ke HP pengguna dan berhasil ditampilkan pada HP pengguna dengan memberikan peringatan ketika terjadi kondisi yang tidak diharapkan</em>
The utilization of well-managed electrical energy sources will result in high energy efficiency and reliability. Smart grid uses electricity management with 2-way communication that allows loads and sources to corporate each other. Campus is a place that requires priority in the availability of energy and it requires smart grid management. This research will contain smart grid management systems on campus that use multisource to fulfil dynamic loads conditions so as to produce optimal smart grid management. The method that use to analysis the system is conventional method. The optimal smart grid achieved by analysis the sources and loads energy needed and then create a management system that have substantial impact on campus electrical system. The results of this research that smart grid system ensures electrical conditions for the needs of these dynamic loads can be fulfilled which is without a smart grid there is lack of energy for 3 days, whereas with a smart grid there is no lack of energy in the campus building.
The use of smart grid systems is a good opportunity for the future of electric energy resilience in the future. The design of smart grid systems that use electrical energy sources through the PLN (National Power Plant), PV Solar System and Battery as a backup can improve efficiency in the electricity grid. To ensure that the system is feasible, it is necessary to analyze the power flow in the system. The analysis is performed on each case contained in the network with Gauss-Seidel Method. The analysis shows that case 1 is the most optimal power supply from PLN and RE (Renewable Energy).
The smart building campus is still being studied by researchers until now. Given the importance of meeting key performance indicators on smart campuses. Medan Area University is a campus that uses a smart grid system to solve energy management problems. With the position of the Medan Area University being in an area that has the potential to utilize photovoltaic (PV) solar renewable energy sources. With the designation of Google Earth data, the average sunlight intensity in the campus area is 4,528 KWh/m2. The design of the smart grid system is carried out by making solar PV solar as the main source and 4 computers as loads. The fuzzy method was chosen in the smart grid system simulation that has been designed because the fuzzy method can provide decisions in the intersection area. To facilitate analysis The MATLAB program is used to assist in the simulation. So that the output can show results that are close to real conditions. Based on 144 hours of data that has been entered into the fuzzy method, the output shows the results are appropriate to be implemented.
Lighting systems that are not up to standard will have an impact on eye fatigue so that the work results of the staff are not optimal. This problem can be solved by designing a lighting system according to the standards that have been determined through the results of previous studies. The 1st floor of the Faculty Engineering, Universitas Medan Area building requires lighting improvements to provide comfort to all staff and lecturers. This research was conducted by measuring the value of light intensity in each room and improving the lighting system which was analyzed through the shape of the room, the color of the walls, and the position of the lights. The results of the study provide additional light points and the position of the lamp according to the utilization.
