Este artigo integra estudos que analisam como professores em serviço acompanham discussões acerca do ensino de História e concepções teórico-metodológicas da Educação Histórica. Aborda elementos que relacionam o ensino de História e a formação de professores a partir do estabelecimento da disciplina na grade curricular das escolas do Brasil. Reforça, apoiando-se em concepções como a de Fenelon (1982) e a de Nadai (1993), que as primeiras relações entre formação de professores e ensino de História são heranças de estruturas educacionais europeias, de fins do século XIX e século XX, embasadas em ideias positivistas, cientificistas e tecnicistas. Desenvolve-se, seguindo a periodização de Schmidt (2012), para o ensino de História no currículo escolar brasileiro, estabelecendo quatro fases que possibilitam analisar aspectos das questões educacionais e a conjuntura sociopolítica do país: 1. Construção do código disciplinar da História no Brasil (1838-1931); 2. Consolidação do código disciplinar da História no Brasil (1931-1971); 3. Crise do Código disciplinar da História no Brasil (1971-1984); 4. Reconstrução do código disciplinar da História no Brasil (1984-?). Destaca princípios da organização do ensino de História e consequentes exigências para a formação de professores envolvidas com a transmissão de informações que não priorizam a análise, reflexão ou interpretações de diferentes perspectivas dos eventos históricos. Contribui no questionamento das perspectivas do processo de ensinar e aprender História e sobre para qual tipo de sociedade contribuir.
Neste artigo partimos do contexto de discussão do ensino de História e suas relações no currículo escolar brasileiro considerando o surgimento de diferentes práticas pedagógicas. Apresentamos estudos acerca da conjuntura das mudanças de fins do século XX e incorporação de novos paradigmas ao ensino da disciplina como a Educação Histórica. Ressaltamos, conforme as Diretrizes Curriculares de História, no Estado do Paraná (DCE-SEED-PR/2008), um aporte teórico-metodológico embasado na compreensão da consciência histórica e elementos que se relacionam com a Educação Histórica, indicando à atuação pedagógica do professor a associação entre passado-presente, produção de narrativas e a aula oficina. Este artigo integra-se às investigações da tese de doutoramento em desenvolvimento na Universidade Estadual de Londrina intitulada - Educação Histórica na formação e atuação dos professores: um campo em construção para os docentes da rede pública – SEED-PR, ressaltando a expansão das discussões em torno da temática da Educação Histórica que, em nossas hipóteses, influencia a formação e atuação de professores de História ressignificando suas práticas.
Este artigo aborda a produção do Livro Didático Público de História para o Ensino Médio, junto à Secretaria de Estado da Educação do Paraná. Parte da organização do projeto em seus principais elementos como os objetivos da produção, estrutura da obra e os desafios apresentados pelos professores autores no desenvolvimento dos trabalhos. Analisa na perspectiva do diálogo com docentes que utilizaram o livro em sala de aula, limites e contribuições do material para professores e alunos. Finaliza ressaltando a experiência de pesquisa e produção de material pelos professores que vivenciam o cotidiano escolar como uma das possibilidades para processos de formação continuada atribuindo novos sentidos para as práticas pedagógicas.
