This study is a classroom action research that aims to discover whether a scientific approach using a problem-based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of upper passing in volleyball for grade XI MIPA 2 at Ma Ma’arif Nu Lasepang in the Bantaeng district. A classroom action research employed the PBL model in its material, namely the basic technique of upper passing in a volleyball. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 3 meetings. The aspects assessed in this study were spiritual KI- 1, social KI- 2, cognitive KI- 3, and psychomotor KI- 4. The research sample was 20 students. Based on the results of the study, at the beginning of the study, initial observation was conducted to determine the condition of students' initial data. As a reference in the assessment, the Benchmark Reference Assessment (PAP) on a scale of 5. In the initial data, it is discovered that no student can achieve the minimum completeness criteria. Furthermore, in the first cycle, there is an increase in the number of students who experienced mastery learning, namely 5 students with a percentage of 25% and there is a significant increase in the second cycle, namely 18 students with 90%.
This study is a classroom action research that aims to discover the level of learning outcomes through a scientific approach with the Number Head Together learning model in grade IV. Students at SDN Mangkura I in Makassar City, in the first semester of the academic year 2019/2020, which consisted of 31 students. The study was conducted in two cycles where each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Cycle I and cycle II were held for 4 meetings. Data collection of learning outcomes was conducted by using observation sheets, worksheets, and the mobility test at the end of the cycle I and cycle II. The collected data were then analyzed quantitatively. Based on those data, the result of the sprint running technique shows that students who completed the learning in the first cycle were 3 people with a percentage of 9.67%, and students who did not complete the learning were 28 people with a percentage of 90.32%. Whereas in cycle II, 27 students completed the learning with a percentage of 87.09% and 4 students who did not complete the learning with a percentage of 12.91%. The result of the analysis also shows that there is an increase in learning outcomes of sprint running techniques for grade IV. Students at SDN Mangkura I in Makassar City. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of a scientific approach with the Number Head Together learning model can improve the learning outcomes.
This research is classroom action research. The series of cycles 1 and 2 used are: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The subjects of this study were fifth graders of Elementary School 156 Wonosari, Sukamaju Region of North Luwu totaled 17 students. Research data were taken through written tests and practical tests. Test data collection tools used in the form of observation guidelines, journals, questionnaires, and photo documentation. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Based on the data analysis that had been carried out, the conclusions obtained are: 1) in the first cycle has not reached the predetermined success indicators, which 75% of students get a score of 70 or more. The percentage of completeness obtained in cycle 1 is 29.41% or 5 people who completed from 17 students. Thus the research was continued to the next cycle. 2) At the second cycle meeting, the results were 94.12% or 16 students who scored > 70 out of 17 students overall. The indicators of research success which is set in this study have been achieved. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the improvement of student learning outcomes for fifth graders of Elementary School 156 Wonosari, Sukamaju Region of North Luwu is significant. It is suggested that teachers should apply a scientific approach using a cooperative learning model using peer teaching methods to improve learning outcomes.
