The use of folktale as a medium of character education can certainly be explored in various ways – through the character’s behaviour, the character’s qualities, and the character’s way of speaking. Employing library and descriptive qualitative research method, the present study investigated the strategic values of mental revolution found in the main characters of Prince Pekik folktale. The finding suggests that throughout his reign the Prince Pekik possessed numerous exemplary qualities – i.e. wise, knowledgeable, motivated, smart, persistent, firm, humble, courageous, responsible, and conscionable. The implication of this study is that by studying the main character’s qualities of this folktale, character education can be taken place where mental revolusion is possibly promoted.

Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat profil kondisi fisik seorang mahasiswa berdasarkan portofolio dari masing-masing mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan Dan Rekreasi di Universitas Wahid Hasyim. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi Angkatan tahun 2020, 2021 dan 2022 di Universitas Wahid Hasyim. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 240 mahasiswa dan sampel yang dipakai sebanyak 90 sampel, dengan cara pengambilan menggunakan teknik random sampling . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik tes dan pengukuran. Dalam penelitian ini instrumen yang digunakan yaitu 9 item tes kondisi fisik antara lain adalah : Daya Tahan Peredararan Darah Dan Pernafasan, Kekuatan Otot, Kecepatan, Daya Ledak, Fleksibilitas, Kelincahan, Koordinasi, Keseimbangan, Kecepatan Reaksi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah 9 mahasiswa berkategori sangat baik, 19 mahasiswa berkategori baik, 35 mahasiswa berkategori cukup, 24 mahasiswa berkategori kurang, 3 mahasiswa berkategori sangat kurang
